SHEEPY STRONG Achievement: Easy Method with Save Scumming (Step-by-Step)
By VanceVibes
This achievement is incredibly difficult, so after many attempts, I decided to use save scumming. While not a pure completion, it still counts, and I wanted to share my method. I hope this helps!

Introduction
The Sheepy Strong achievement requires finishing the game without dying no hits or falls. While the game is short (around 30 minutes), dying forces you to restart. With save scumming, you can replay only the chapter where you died instead of starting over.

What is Save Scumming?
Save scumming means backing up your game save files and restoring them if you make a mistake. This method lets you save at the start of each chapter, so if you die, you can restart from that chapter instead of the entire game.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Locate Your Save File
Find your save files here:

C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\SheepyAShortAdventure\User Data\Default\IndexedDB\chrome-extension_dkoamdilnalhkoenefeomjikocgieika_0.indexeddb.leveldb

Tip : Enable "Hidden Items" in File Explorer if you can’t see the AppData folder.

2. Back Up Your Save Files

  1. In the save folder, copy all 8 files.
  2. Paste them into a new folder on your PC (e.g., Chapter01).
  3. Repeat this after completing each chapter, creating new folders (Chapter02, Chapter03, etc.).

3. Restore Save Files if You Die
  1. Close the game immediately if you die.
  2. Copy the backed-up save files from the respective chapter folder.
  3. Paste them into the save file location from Step 1.
  4. Relaunch the game to resume from the chapter’s start.

4. Update Your Backups
After finishing a chapter without dying, update your backup by saving the new files in a new folder for the next chapter. For the final chapter, back up before the boss fight to skip the platforming if you fail.

Bonus Tip
If you fall, try pausing and pressing Alt+F4 quickly. Reopening the game will place you on a safe platform without counting a death, but this isn’t always reliable.

It’s been patched. If you try to copy the save files, the originals erase themselves, and anything you paste afterward erases itself as well making your copy useless even though it still exists. This not only blocks the exploit but also punishes anyone who even tries to cheat for the achievement.

@VanceVibes Thanks for the response, I just practiced the boss a few times and went and did it properly. Steam seems to autosave and rewrite the file you're supposed to change, so you might need to turn that off.

Luckily for me I only had problem with the boss, everything else is rather easy. Thanks for the guide tho, appreciate it.

@Foxiness That method isn’t guaranteed. There’s a threshold if you fall past it, it counts as a death even if you’re still in the air and exit the game.

Bro... I completed the whole game without dying but didn't get achievement. Is it because I quit each time I was about to fall in the final fight?

Thanks a lot, it worked well. This achievement was soooooo hard. Half my play time was dedicated to it.

It works! I died on level 03, closed the game, placed the backup in the "chrome-extension..." folder, opened the game again, and finished it without dying. Achievement unlocked!

@No1TrippingHazard You might have accidentally enabled "Hide protected system files" instead of just showing hidden files. What version of Windows are you running?

Also, try looking for the game files elsewhere. maybe the game got installed in a different location than the default Steam path. In your case, search for a folder named "SheepyAShortAdventure" then check its subfolders and continue from there.

I look in my game files and I don't see where the save game file is. I see a bunch of different things and a couple of folders but none named save files or user data so I have no idea what to actually copy. I enable hidden and then everything disappears.
