Tower of Mask - Enemy Weakpoints & Tips

This guide will contain enemy weaknesses and general useful information.

Useful Information
  • Most floors have a Save Statue near the beginning.
  • Traps can be used to damage enemies, not just you.
  • If you see on your map that the path should continue but in front of you is a wall, chances are there is a switch or lever nearby that you can pull to reveal what's behind the wall.
  • Trapdoors lead to secret rooms of the floor below that cannot be accessed any other way. Some immediately put you into a fight, so be prepared!
  • If you hit an enemy weak spot and perform a critical hit, you can walk into the enemy to perform a tackle which deals additional damage and switches your position with the enemy's.
  • Many enemies can be tackled multiple times in quick succession.
  • A treasure chest on Floor 9 can be used to transform coins and chalices into keys - see here for full list: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3380425751
  • Some inconspicuous items can be used in puzzles, such as Wooden Mallet (toss at buddha statues), Statue of Smiling Man (used on floor 2 start on an empty altar, and later on floor 7 to toss in an alcove to open a secret door along with Staff of Earth and Necklace of Flame Stone) and Creepy Glowing Orb.

Stats
Each time you level up, you may put 3 points into your stats:
Health: Increases maximum health.
Strength: Increases power of close-range attacks.
Dexterity: Increases speed of the attack.
Protection: Reduces damage taken.
Agility: Increases speed of movement.
Willpower: Increases aiming speed.
Enemy Weakpoints & Masks
Most enemies have a weakpoint. When you strike it, you deal a critical hit.


Mask of Rotting Wood [Protection +1]
First encountered on Floor 1.
The first enemy you'll meet. They can wield a variety of weapons but are rather weak. Their weakpoint is their face.

Mask of Red Ogre [Protection +2]
First encountered on Floor 1.
Their weakpoint is their nose.

Mask of Scream [Willpower +3]
First fought in the first level, this enemy will teleport around and try to ambush you. Make sure to keep moving at all times to avoid getting hit. Their weakpoint seem to be their mask.

Mask of Dead [Max Health +2]
First encountered on Floor 1.
Spawns clouds of flies that home in on you to deal a small amount of damage. His weakpoint is a golden fly among the swarm.

Mask of Blue Ogre [Dexterity +2]
First encountered on Floor 2.
The weakpoint is his mouth.

Mask of Deer [Agility +3]
First encountered on Floor 2.
The weakpoint seem to be his nose.


Mask of Lithotope [Strength +2]
First encountered on Floor 2.
They crouch and shoot a flaming ball at you. Charge at them while taking cover intermittently. Their weakpoint is the moving mechanism on their head (?) and they can only attack non-diagonally (so if you stand in a diagonal square, they cant attack you).

Their projectile can be hit with a melee attack to redirect it back to them and it crits for 50% bonus damage if it hits them in the head/mask.


Mask of Dragon [Strength +3]
First encountered on Floor 2.
Their weakpoint is their face(?)


Mask of Swamp Man [Dexterity+4]
First encountered on Floor 3.
They spew poison at you and sometimes this leaves a cloud of poison on a square that can apply poison to you when you enter it. Watch your positioning when fighting them. Their weakpoint seems to be somewhere within the top half of its head.


Mask of Silence [Protection +3]
First encountered on Floor 3.
They are able to go through walls. Their weakpoint is their face.


Mask of Clown [Reloading Speed +3]
First encountered on Floor 4.
They lay traps which disappear after some time or after they are defeated. Their weakpoint is the small face in its mouth. He opens it to gloat when someone (including himself) gets trapped. Hit a trap once he finished laying it down, trapping him and then hit his open mouth.


Mask of Iron Kiln [Protection +5 Agility -2]
First encountered on Floor 2 (accessible via Floor 3).
Their weakpoint is their eyes that they occasionally close to protect from damage.


Mask of Dragon [Strength +5]
First encountered on Floor 4.
They breathe fire and can create AOE fire on squares. Watch your positioning. Their weakpoint is ???.


Mask of Orb [Max Health +3 Dexterity +3]
First encountered on Floor 5.
Their weakpoint seem to be the approximate location of their nose at the center of their face.


Parasite Head [cannot be worn]
First encountered on Floor 6.
Their weakpoint is the middle of their head/mouth.


Mask of Fairy [Agility +3 Dexterity +3]
First encountered on Floor 6.
They fly and are very small and therefore hard to hit. Their weakpoint is their head.


Mask of Eight-forked Serpent [Agility +5]
First encountered on Floor 6.
An eight-headed monstrosity. Can attack melee and with several heads. All its heads are its weakpoints, when they are hit, they fall off.


Mask of Salvation [Strength -10 Dexterity -10 Protection -10 Agility -10 Willpower -10]
First encountered on Floor 8.
This is a variation of the Parasite Head enemy. Its weakpoint is the middle of their head/mouth.


Mask of King [Strength +5]
First encountered on Floor 8.
Similar to the Lithotope, but instead of having a ballista on their heads, they control a ghost that attacks with two blades. The weakpoint is the crown on the ghost's head.

I believe the swamp mask can only be critted while charging up his poison attack.

Mask of Clown's weak spot is the face in its mouth. It opens it to gloat/giggle when someone (even themself) gets trapped. The most reliable way is to hit a trap once they finish lay it down trapping them and then hit their open mough.

Mask of Scream's weak spot seens to be the mask itself. Quite easy to crit them.

Mask of orb's weak point SEEMS to be the approximate location of a nose... at least somewhere around the center of the orb. And it's quite small to boot.

Swamp Man - it's somewhere within the top half of its head.

Deer - at least the BIG one on level 2 - is definitely nose.

For Lithotops you can hit the projectile they fire back at them, it can crit for 50% bonus damage if it hits them in the head/mask.
Many of the mobs you can tackle twice if not more before they make their turn.

Mask of the Dead's weakpoint is a glowing/golden fly that spawns in with the rest of the fly swarm.

If you hit enemy weak spot and stagger it, You can walk into the enemy to tackle. This will deal some damage and switch position with enemy.
