Another option is to remove the damage of its abilities in "characters/death/death.lua". You can change "abilities.drainfield.events.half_extents" x, y, and z to 0 and "abilities.dive.events.damage_amount" to 0 and just ignore it.
The ironic part is after testing this stuff I realized that Death is rather easy to avoid so I'll probably just leave it default.
Is it possible to mod the game to allow more than one of each character?
Is it possible to replace some of the character models? Switching male/female would be nice for each character.
Basically, you open the folder like it shows in the video, then copy the contents of the first zip into that folder without entering the contents folder at all. This confused the Hell out of me, so I thought I'd clarify for people that take instructions literally like, much like myself. If you look at the files in the zip, you'll see it also contains a contents folder, which is why you need to overwrite/merge files.
Anyway, I also wanted to thank you, author, for these mods. I'm having a lot of fun with the game, but I was definitely doing like you said and wishing the relics were actually useful outside of the Illusions and Freezing ones, and to a lesser extent the Whirlwind one. Hopefully, these mods will solve my dilemma. Thanks for your work on this. ^-^
