basically, kind of what this is.
ideologies, from what I know, there is mainly four, there is hundreds but I can't really fit all of that into this, so I'm sticking to four ideologies.

Democracy

Communism

Fascism

Monarchism

I don't want to spoil much, so I'll get to the next section.

#1 - Democracy
So I now have to explain what this is, I decided that this game, is too boring after a while, so what if to make it a little bit more interesting, is having a buffs and cons to what ideology a country is.
So I'm starting with Democracy, and what it's buffs and cons will be.

Democracy
(+) +50% Gold Capacity (You can hold more gold, so if you were a normal country, you would have 2,500 gold, just a random number, with democracy 2,500 + 50% = 3,750)

(+) +25% Gold Recovery (You can gain gold quicker)

(-) -30% Gold Loss (When you enter a war, if you're a big nation you'll start losing a lot of gold, however if you're someone like the USA and attack somebody else, you'll not only be losing a lot of gold, but also an additional 30%)

For one last thing, more of an experimental bonus.

(?) Elections, every 4 years, a country will hold an election, it'll be random on what it chooses, there will be two parties, usually the current party, Democracy and up against one of the other three ideologies, if the last country you fought was of a particular ideology, it will be excluded from the elections because it is unpopular.
For the current regime to win without randomness, depending on what the party did that year, such as taking more land, they will have a higher chance of winning.
#2 - Communism
Communism is kinda difficult, so this is mostly just like Democracy but a bit, I dunno, I'm writing this before the actual statistics, so I have no idea what it'll be.

(-) -10% Gold Recovery (Will gain Gold slower.)

(+) -50% Less gold loss (Will lose less gold during wars)

This was kinda small, genuinely couldn't think of anything.

#3 - Fascism
The last two ones were usually based off of economy or politics, this one is much different.

No Elections

(+) +20% Speed in taking over a country (assuming they have the stronger military)

(+) +10% Building of military (assuming the strength meter isn't on random or static, the fascist country will be able to at most have a 10% chance of having a better military then others, more explanation: every time it's time for a country to have their military weaken or strengthen, the 10% benefit will add on, and will give a higher chance for the military to strengthen.

(-) +25% More rebellion (pretty simple, if they annex a country, they will be very unstable)
#4 - Monarchism
Probably the most unique one, I could do, I'll just get straight to it honestly.

(+) -25% Rebellion chance (less chance of rebellion after taking a country)

(?) The more land possessed by the country, the slower their military will move in war, so if you have strength: 6 and the enemy has strength: 2, but you owned half the world, then it would take at least 20-30 seconds longer, and I'm not taking into account that the enemy can build up their army during that time.

(+) +55% Gold Capacity (THIS, will only happen if you are big, at 5,000 pixels you will get 15% 20,000 25% 30,000 35% 40,000 45% and finally 50,000 55%)

(-) +10% Rebellion chance (DURING WAR)

experimental ideologies
if you wanted a few more ideologies, here is some.

Non-Aligned
Buffs
Nothing.

Cons
Nothing.

Anarchism
Buffs
When being invaded, there is a 10% chance during a battle, a siege will begin, this strongholds can last for up to a year at max, despite being a year, when a siege is present near the frontlines, it will slow down the enemy's advance.

Cons
-50% Gold Capacity
-50% Gold Recovery
Can not declare alliances, wars, and pretty much anything.
Upon an anarchy taking over, all puppets are freed.

Independentism
Buffs
Nothing.

Cons
Can not make puppets.

Extra Information
These can only occur from revolts, and CAN be grown out of after 50-200 years of being in an independent party.
some extra information
how some ideologies can be formed

Ideologies can usually only be formed through two ways, revolution and election.

Election

This can only happen if the country is democratic, this was explained the democracy section, so I'm not going over it.

Revolution

If the country is not democratic, then upon rebellion chance being above 50% it will... I don't know.. uhh. I guess roll a dice? and if it goes higher then 4, then a revolution will begin between a random party and the current country.
bye.
hopefully you liked this guide, please give me suggestions for what I should if you liked this guide :)
oops missed this
if you ever wanna change the ideology in game, you can select the nation and well switch it.
same for when you're making a map, you can choose what ideology a country is.
