Why the guide?
DLCs for PC version of DR2 OTR were disabled by Capcom and you can't get them on Steam, sadly.
Unlocking the DLC
  • Go to the DR2 OTR's main folder (where the game is installed)
  • Locate "steam_api.dll"
  • Rename it to "steam_api_0.dll"
  • Get CreamAPI (can't give you a link to this, because previous guide for this disappeared)
  • Download it and extract somewhere
  • Go to that program's folder and open "log_build" folder
  • Copy "cream_api and steam_api.dll"
  • paste it into DR2 OTR's main folder
  • Open "cream_api" and paste this into it, replacing everything:

    45773 = Dead Rising 2: Off The Record BBQ Chef Skills Pack
    45774 = Dead Rising 2: Off The Record COSPLAY Skills Pack
    45776 = Dead Rising 2: Off The Record Firefighter Skills Pack
  • Save it.
If you got an error, do this
Change "steam_api_0" to "steam_api_o".

1. This is not an advertisement
2. This is exactly the same method as yours, I just put together an archive with ready-made files. So that people don't have to do a lot of actions or if someone can't figure it out or others can't do it.
Sorry if you think this is an advertisement, but I didn't leave the link for that purpose.
