well, in my head (to make it work in TF universe) gravel wars were over, and Grey Mann was dealt with as well, so mercs got fired by MannCo because not needed anymore

and so mercs are pissed at MannCo and Saxton Hale in person (with MannCo becoming "Vought" and Saxton - Homelander)

didn't develop this concept any further since it's a single reference/parody art
