Liar's Deck: Basic Mode
Deck Composition
In Basic Mode, the deck consists of 20 cards:
  • 6 Kings
  • 6 Queens
  • 6 Aces
  • 2 Jokers
Each player starts with 5 cards.

How it Works
1. At the beginning of each round:
  • The game picks one type of card for everyone to throw/claim to have (King, Queen, or Ace)
  • The deck is shuffled and everyone is given a new hand.

2. Gameplay:
  • Players can throw 1 to 3 cards each turn.
  • Jokers are wildcards that can substitute any card.
  • Example: With a hand of 2x Ace, 2x Queen, and 1x Joker, you'd be correct to claim to have:
    - 3x Ace
    - 3x Queen
    - 1x King

When it's your turn, you have 2 options:

1. Make a claim.
  • Choose cards to throw.
  • Your turn ends, and it moves to the player after you.
2. Call out the player before you for lying.
  • If they lied:
    - Their cards are revealed. If there’s at least one red card, they were lying, and they must
    play Russian Roulette.
  • If they told the truth:
    - Their cards are revealed. If they're all green, you were wrong, and you must face the
    gun.

Rinse and repeat until there is one player left.

Tips:
  • Keep track of the number of cards thrown by other players.
  • Most people bluff at the very start of the round, watch out for early tricks.
  • Learn the habits and patterns of the other players around the table.
  • Usually, the most outrageous claims are true; don't be fooled.

Liar's Deck: Devil Mode
What's Different?
  • Devil mode adds a single card to the deck: The Devil Card
  • It can only be played on its own and not part of a bigger claim.
  • If the player after you calls you out for bluffing and the card is revealed, everyone else has to play Russian Roulette.

Tips:
  • If you're planning to throw the card, try to act suspicious to make the next player call out your bluff.
  • Players in this mode will usually try to put down one card to make others think it's the devil and not accuse them of lying.

Liar's Deck: Chaos Mode
What's Different?
The chaos mode adds two new cards: Master and Chaos

The deck now contains 12 cards:
  • 5 Kings
  • 5 Queens
  • 1 Master
  • 1 Chaos
  • Master Card: If revealed, only the player who threw it gets to choose someone to shoot.
  • Chaos Card: If revealed, everyone points their guns at a person of their choice and pulls the trigger.
It also changes some mechanics of the basic mode:
  • Each player starts with 3 cards instead of 5.
  • Can only play 1 card per turn.
  • When you expose a bluff, you choose who to shoot.
  • You can also shoot dead players.

Tips:
  • It's best to use the chaos card when you're losing to change the tide of the battle.
  • Try to keep the master card until the end or when you think your gun has a higher chance of going off.
  • You can form alliances in this mode by choosing who to target; pick wisely.

Liar's Dice: Basic Mode
How it Works
⚀⚁⚂⚃⚄⚅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each player starts with a dice cup and a total of 5 dice.

1. Making a Bid:
  • During your turn, you guess how many dice of a certain pip value (⚀ to ⚅) there are on the table across all players.
  • Every turn, the bid rises. For example, if you bid one (1x⚂), the next player has to bid two or higher (2x⚃). It doesn't have to be the same type of dice.
2. Calling a Bluff:
  • If you think the previous player’s bid is too high (a lie), call their bluff.
  • Everyone reveals their dice, and the table counts the total for the bid value:
    - If the total meets or exceeds the bid, you drink one bottle of poison.
    - If the total is less than the bid, the bidder drinks one bottle of poison.
  • Drinking 2 bottles of poison = elimination.

Tips:
  • Bidding high from the start puts pressure on the other players.
  • If your hand has no dice matching the bid and it’s unusually high, it’s worth challenging.

Liar's Dice: Traditional Mode
What's Different?
This mode adds two mechanisms to the basic mode: Spot on! and Wildcards.

1. Spot On!
If you believe the previous bid is exactly correct, you can call "Spot On!"
  • If you're correct:
    - Everyone else at the table drinks poison.
  • If you're wrong:
    - You drink poison yourself.

2. Wildcards ⚀:
  • Dice showing 1s (⚀) are wildcards and can count as any value (similar to Jokers in Liar’s Deck).
  • 1s can also be counted as their own value if bid upon.

Tips:
  • Spot on is risky but similar to the devil card in Liar's Deck; it can give you an advantage over everyone else.
  • 1s are very useful for higher bids.

"If the player after you calls you out for bluffing and the card is revealed, everyone else has to play Russian Roulette."

This is almost true. Everyone else who has cards left has to play Russian roulette.
