~USSC~ DD-97 // "Resolute"

Developed by: Attas and Marrow Fleetyards in 2355 for the USSC Navy. Entering service in June of 2360, Resolute, the lead ship of her class and the namesake, was deployed against the Insurgency along with the rest of her class during Operation Javelin.

After the Secession and the Battle at Alpha Corvi VII, It would be discovered that the UFS had stolen several of these ships from the USSC shipyards during the Fall of: New Venice. Resolute, distinguished herself in every battle she served in making a name for the durability of the Class but also the effectiveness of Her crew.

Resolute to this day continues to serve in the USSC navy, now battling the Union of Free Systems.


Armed with Two 1500mm Fixed Offensive lances and Five dual 300mm cannons and an array of smaller armaments the Resolute stands out among-st destroyer Classes the USSC has fielded before due to its heavy armaments. The main stable of the Resolute class however is its Drive system and Hangar Capacity.

Due to limited budgets in the years before the outbreak of the Insurgency, the USSC struggle with ships large enough to carry smaller craft and its ships had considerably under powered drive systems compared to newer civilian models. The Resolute debunked this negative trait, while also increasing the durability of the ship compared to older destroyers and staying within the original Budget.
