This vessel is a sister ship to the Assault cruiser, being built on the same hull more or less. The ship has drones for it's offensive damage output and is designed a large amount of active systems to cripple the enemy, for itself or other cruisers to finish off. This ship may not seem like it has much in the way of defenses, but it's hull resistances are high enough for it to take a pounding from carrier for days on end, even without reapiring it's hull.
