SHORT OVERVIEW
IMPORTANT! You can deactivate the needles in the game settings.

One SCP-1344 can be found per round in the Light Containment Zone or Heavy Containment Zone, inside a locker chamber. Using it worsens your vision but allows you to see enemies' "souls" through walls.

Trying to remove SCP-1344 will trigger a 5-second animation that can be stopped. If you don’t stop the animation, you will become fully blinded, your eyes will fall out, and you will suffer an inevitable death (not even SCP-500 can save you).
How to obtain
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
As mentioned before, only one SCP-1344 appears per round. It can first be obtained in each round in the Light Containment Zone or Heavy Containment Zone, inside a locker chamber. SCP-1344 is a multiple-use item, each time a player dies, you can grab the item and equip it again, continuing the cycle.

TEST LOG SCP-1344-03

This test log can be found underneath SCP-1344 inside the locker chamber

Addendum 1344-A-03: Excerpts from testing log 1344/T/24072102:A
Date: ▓▓▓▓-▓▓-
Test Lead: Senior Researcher Alyssa Warwick
Subject: D-1120

Foreword: Recent scientific breakthroughs in the field of thaumaturgy involving Aetheric Energy / Elan Vital Energy (EVE) call for a review of SCP-1344's anomalous properties. We can safely hypothesize that SCP-1344 does indeed grant the ability to detect EVE emitted from living creatures.[/i]

This experiment was conducted in order to determine whether SCP-1344’s anomalous properties could be developed further and utilized in practical field applications.

Additional Notes:
- The next scheduled test will require participation from one voluntary member of the site’s local Mobile Task Force unit to ascertain if colouration differs.
- Subject’s descriptions of EVE readings were generic, as expected from one with virtually zero aetheric pattern recognition training.
- SCP-049 was very well-behaved and demonstrated an initial interest in SCP-1344, but was prohibited from engaging in further contact. An opportunity for future cross-testing?
- ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓
- EVE colouration consistency differs greatly from older tests. Could SCP-1344 have also been behaviourally altered by thaumaturgical backlash originating from 19?
