This guide won't go into synergies or anything like that, but instead little things that it took me way too damn long to notice. My pain is your gain!

Overview
Well hi! Welcome to this humble guide.

I don't know why this game tickles my pickle, but it sure does. There were a few things that I have noticed that I think may be useful to others, hence this guide. Like I said above, I'm not going to get into theorycrafting, but noticing little things about gameplay and stuff that could be of help to someone else sooner.
Did You Know...
  • There are clickables in every combat area (the actual combat room with your duders and the bad guys)? They highlight on mouseover. Clickies either give Nothing, or random crafting items or usables. If you're doing loot runs, this will help save you time.
  • The lil' pupper is also clickable? It's super adorable.
  • That PROJECTILE damage is different from PHYSICAL damage? You'll learn this pretty quick, unless you're not paying attention to damage type. Some baddies are weak to arrows/thrown knives.
  • That lightning damage bypasses ARM? At least, the Sorceress' casts seem to. I haven't tested with the other ability types (I just unlocked her!), but that could be useful for strategizing. I also don't remember the Warlock's "random scroll" ability doing that, but that is random, and paying attention is hard.
  • That you can craft in the field? The blacksmith can do a lot, but you can actually craft in your inventory/stats/quests/whatever screen. It's on its own tab. This is important and I wish I knew this forever ago because YOU CAN COOK FOOD. AND FOOD IS GOOD. Also, if you want to dive balls deep in sin, one of the sins loves it when you craft in the field. For some reason. It's a weird kink but okay.
  • That the more sin you get in your lil' sin bar, the more loot you get, but the harder the duders get? I realize this is probably a "duh" but hey, this is SIMPLE Tips and Tricks, and that's pretty simple.
  • That there are (random) quests in the game map? And if they ask you to gather stuff and you literally cannot gather enough of them (like, say, you meet a mushroom-eatin' orc and he wants you to get more mushrooms, but you've mostly cleared the dungeon) then you get to keep the ones you've gathered for when you find that quest on another attempt at that map?
Conclusion
Okay, that's it for now. If anyone else has simple tips and tricks, the comments section is available and I'll totally update this if someone finds cool stuff. Big thanks to "goonswarm" for making the game. It's pretty fun.
