Gameplay footage of Mayhem Brawler for the Switch. So I finally got around to playing this at long last (I say at 'long last and finally' however I actually recorded this video a few months ago and haven't gotten around to uploading it yet till today).
I think its a nice game and considering its a small indie team that worked on this its actually rather impressive with how well some of the graphics are.

The game received some flak upon release as some people were comparing the graphics to SOR4s and claiming they were trying to copy the look which I found very odd. Its not like they were not allowed to use that type of style or design so I don't see why people were complaining about it.

The game itself seems ok but at times I'm not sure if its meant to be being serious about itself or if its meant to be parodying itself?
The use of a Twitter clone in the game seems like a very strange thing to put into it as does certain other things. I doubt this will look or age well in another 10/20 years time when people wonder what on Earth its meant to be or why its even in there.

That aside the game seems ok if abit limited in its move set as I found you can simply just spam attack constantly and not really face too many issues. Other games such as Final Vendetta or Fight N' Rage by comparison are much much harder and punish you more if you make any mistakes.

Mayhem Brawler is a good title with good graphics, character design, enemies and world. I just wish that the game gave you abit more information from the actual world building that it does considering it seems to be rather important to the characters and events within the story.

Huge credit to the Devs btw for keeping up work on the game and adding in additional characters (SheWolf and Alley Witch) which they didn't have to do. They could of just focused on the sequel but they came back to this to add more to it and make it a much better experience for all.
