Many keys require you to defeat specific enemies to gain them as result-screen-awards, you are looking for "Justice Society Jailer Captain".


Fights where you can get the keys always follow these rules:

1.) enemy on field to trigger battle is man clothed in white
2.) battle consists entirely of these enemies and no non-human/non-white-robbed foes.

In my experience you get the keys on the 1st battle with correct on-field-foe triggered 100% of the time.


2 keys are accessed via normal item crystals (Azure and Black), some jail cells have breakable walls inside (very obvious on the map) and the one on the 1st floor's alternate-access area leads to the Azure key (requires pink key to access). The black key is back on the 1st floor so will have to back-track to get it.

I may have missed one or two keys for some non-jail-cell doors (as made this guide after clearing level) but this should be mostly complete (apologies if I'm missing some but I'm 99% sure this has the vital info you need):

You can get keys from enemies even if already own them, for whatever reason (hey at least made writing this guide easy). Keys do not carry over into new game + playthroughs so have to redo dungeon from full on each NG+ playthrough.

This is my 1st guide so hope it's all readable/easy to grasp and helpful (saw few comments on YouTube videos of people being stuck in this level and text guides just don't quite do... and I confess I got stuck here for nearly an hour).
