Overview
The Hunters spear is a ranged offensive move I created. It includes you taking a pillar, and trowing it horizontal towards your opponent. So, how do you perform this move you ask? Well i'm here to tell you.
How to set up
To start this combo, take a pillar and spawn it directly in front of you. Then after doing this quickly move to the uppercut position and uppercut the pillar. For a visual example, refer to the gif.

After doing this, simply dash forward to the left or right side of the pillar. What side you choose to dash to all depends what your dominant hand it. I'm personally right handed, and I perform hold with my right hand facing up. So I dash to the left of the pillar. If you're left handed, dash to the right of the pillar. Refer to the gif for a visual example.
Tying it all together
Before moving onto this step, ensure that you have the uppercut and dash down. It's time to bring together what you have currently into the full combo/attack. This part can be a little tricky to get down, but once you start to get it it isn't that bad.

So, here's what you gotta do.

In order to get this part right you have to be very quick about it. While you are dashing to the side of the pillar you need to grab the pillar in mid air before your dash is finished. After doing this the pillar should be somewhat behind you. This factor allows you to immediately go into a slingshot with the pillar. Thus being the "spear" part of the hunters spear. With it all put together it should look something like this:

I'm struggling, what can I do?
If you find that you just can't quite get it here are a few tips that helped me.

1. If you're having trouble dashing to the side of the pillar fast enough, ensure that your hand is going straight out. This is what was making me have trouble with the move, but after I corrected it I got it afterwards.

2. If you're loosing the pillar at any time in the slingshot, try reducing your arm thrust. I found that if I ever lost the pillar either in the short windup or during the throw, I was over exaggerating my punches. If I dialed it back I was able to not loose it.

3. Time for my favorite tip! Practice. Like I've said time and time before, it really does help. The more you do something, the more consistently and the better you can perform it.
Final Thoughts
With enough practice, you'll be slinging spears at your enemies in no time.

Is there any variant involving Explode that makes it efficient rather than wasting a second on explode? like can you do explode as the pillar is raised?

@Equani_Mouse you can definitely do some better techniques to accelerate it faster, I just wanted to make it as easily accessible for newer players to pick up, while also leaving space to add in your own stuff

its fun. i think you can do like kick struppercut or something after the dash. gives you a similar path without waiting on the hold

though it is quite situational

If you can do it quick enough it's really good at penetrating small holes in peoples defenses, but it is mostly just for fun :steamhappy:

it's great and all as a stage move but i don't see the use for it in an actual fight.
