1. Zacznijmy od samej gry, jeżeli macie ją już zainstalowane to odinstalujcie, dobrze jest skopiować sobie zapis gry aby go nie stracić (folder znajduje się "Dokumenty/Eden Games/Test Drive Unlimited 2/savegame" skopiujcie wszystko na pulpit).

2. Pobieramy wszystkie potrzebne pliki i programy:
- TDU2 Manul Update[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Unpacker[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Patch[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Universal Launcher[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Autopack 1.85[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Autopack 1.8[drive.google.com]
- Map fix[drive.google.com]
- 4Gb Patch[ntcore.com]

3. Gdy już pobierzemy wszystkie pliki to zaczynamy od katalogu "update v0.3.4 build 16", zaznaczamy wszystkie pliki z tego katalogu i przerzucamy do głównego folderu z grą, zgadzamy się na wszystkie nadpisy plików.

4. Następnie wszystkie pliki z katalogu "TDU2 Unpacker" również przekopiowujemy do głównego folderu z grą, gdy już to zrobimy to przechodzimy do folderu gdzie zainstalowaną mamy grę i klikamy na "unpack_full.bat" czekamy aż skrypt skończy swoją prace.

5. Gdy praca skryptu się skończy przechodzimy spowrotem do pobranych katalogów i klikamy w "TDU2_Patch_(for_unpacked).exe", przechodzimy przez kolejne okienka instalatora oraz wskazujemy mu folder gdzie mamy zainstalowaną grę.

6. Mamy już zainstalowane Unoffical Patch, więc teraz przechodzimy do katalogu "TDU2_Universal_Launcher_v3.6" stamtąd przekopiowujemy do głównego folderu z grą plik o nazwie "TDU2_Universal_Launcher.exe", uruchamiamy go, następnie klikamy w lewym roku "Tool" następnie "Setting" i w tym okienku w polu "Select the TDU2 root folder:" wskazujemy mu główny folder z grą, następnie klikamy "Save" i zamykamy program.

7. Teraz zajmiemy się problemem z zawieszaniem się gry jak włączymy mapę, by to naprawić przechodzimy do pobranych plików i przekopiowujemy stamdąd plik "d3d9.dll" do głównego folderu z grą.

8. (Opcjonalnie) Z katalogów "TDU2 Autopack 1.85" oraz "TDU2 AutoPack 1.8 'Ferrari RED Pack' (includes all AutoPack version) przekopiowujemy foldery "Euro" do głównego folderu z grą i zgadzamy się na zastąpienie wszystkich plików. (Ważne by zacząć od katalogu "TDU2 Autopack 1.85".)

9. Gdy mamy już wszystkie te czynności wykonane, przechodzimy do pobranych plików i wchodzimy w katalog "4gb_patch" w nim klikamy na "4gb_patch.exe", uruchomi nam się okno do wybrania aplikacji, wyszukujemy folderu gdzie mamy zainstalowaną gre i szukamy tam "TDU2_Universal_Launcher.exe" klikamy na niego gdy pojawi się nam okno z komunikatem "Executable successfully patched!" to klikamy na "Another File", następnie szukamy "TestDrive2.exe" i klikamy, gdy wyskoczy nam to okno to robimy to samo co poprzednim razem i teraz szukamy "UpLauncher" i również go klikamy, teraz gdy klikamy "OK"

10. Teoretycznie mamy grę gotową, wystarczy kliknąć na "TDU2_Universal_Launcher.exe" (lub stworzyć jego skrót na pulpicie), zaznaczyć opcję "Offline" i "Run Game!", jednak muszę napisać o jeszcze paru rzeczach które widywałem na różnych forach i po połączeniu wszystkich tych porad udało się normalnie uruchomić grę i pozbyć się wszystkich błędów i problemów:
- Na dużej ilości forów piszą by uruchomić grę w trybie zgodności z Windowsem 7, nie róbcie tego! Ten sposób spowoduje jedynie to, że stracicie FPS i gra będzie działać w ok 30 klatakch.
- Bardzo ważną rzeczą jest to, żeby normalnie grać bez żadnych problemów musimy mieć uruchomioną na komputerze tylko grę, nie może być uruchomiony żaden inny program, a w szczególności przeglądarki internetowe, właśnie one są prowodyrem problemów z wyrzucaniem gry co 10-15 minut. Próbowałem dojść do tego jaki jest tego powód lecz żadnego nie znalazłem.
- Nie uruchamiamy gry z uprawnieniami administratora, bo to powoduje problemy ze stabilnością gry i potrafi wyrzucać przy każdym dołączeniu do wyścigu.
- Ważną rzeczą też jest to by nie minimalizować gry jak już ją uruchomimy, podczas powrotu do niej potrafi wywalić ją do pulpitu.

Teraz po wykonaniu wszsytkich tych czynności oraz gdy wykorzystamy wszystkie porady które napisałem gra będzie działać idealnie i nie będzie się już wywalała do pulpitu! W moim przypadku grałem od 2 godzin i nic się nie stało, moje parametry komputera to:

1. Let’s start with the game itself. If you already have it installed, uninstall it. It's a good idea to copy your game save files so you don’t lose them (the folder is located at "Documents/Eden Games/Test Drive Unlimited 2/savegame" — copy everything to your desktop).

2. Download all the necessary files and programs:

- TDU2 Patch[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Universal Launcher[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Autopack 1.85[drive.google.com]
- TDU2 Autopack 1.8[drive.google.com]
- Map fix[drive.google.com]
- 4Gb Patch[ntcore.com]

3. Once we’ve downloaded all the files, we start with the "update v0.3.4 build 16" folder. Select all the files from this folder and move them to the main game folder. Agree to overwrite all files.

4. Next, copy all the files from the "TDU2 Unpacker" folder to the main game folder as well. Once that’s done, go to the folder where the game is installed and run "unpack_full.bat". Wait for the script to finish its work.

5. When the script is done, go back to the downloaded folders and run "TDU2_Patch_(for_unpacked).exe". Go through the installer’s steps and specify the folder where the game is installed.

6. Now that the Unofficial Patch is installed, go to the "TDU2_Universal_Launcher_v3.6" folder. From there, copy "TDU2_Universal_Launcher.exe" to the main game folder. Run it, then click "Tool" in the top left, followed by "Settings". In the window that opens, in the field "Select the TDU2 root folder:", point to the main game folder. Then click "Save" and close the program.

7. Now let's address the issue of the game freezing when we open the map. To fix this, go to the downloaded files and copy the "d3d9.dll" file from there to the main game folder.

8. (Optional) From the "TDU2 Autopack 1.85" and "TDU2 AutoPack 1.8 'Ferrari RED Pack' (includes all AutoPack versions)" directories, copy the "Euro" folders to the main game folder, agreeing to replace all files when prompted. (It's important to start with the "TDU2 Autopack 1.85" directory.)

9. Once all these steps are completed, go to the downloaded files and open the "4gb_patch" folder. Inside, click on "4gb_patch.exe," which will open a window to select an application. Locate the folder where your game is installed, find "TDU2_Universal_Launcher.exe," and click on it. When a message appears saying "Executable successfully patched!" click on "Another File." Then locate "TestDrive2.exe" and click on it; when the window appears again, do the same as before, and finally, look for "UpLauncher" and click on it as well. Now, click "OK."

10. Theoretically, the game is now ready to play; simply click on "TDU2_Universal_Launcher.exe" (or create a shortcut on your desktop), select "Offline," and then "Run Game!" However, I need to mention a few more things I’ve seen on various forums. By following all of these tips, I was able to launch the game smoothly and eliminate all errors and issues:
-Many forums suggest running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7—don’t do this! This approach will only reduce your FPS, and the game will run at around 30 frames per second.
-A crucial point to avoid issues is to have only the game running on your computer; no other programs should be open, especially web browsers, as these are the main culprits causing the game to crash every 10-15 minutes. I tried to find the exact cause, but I couldn't identify it.
-Don’t run the game with administrator privileges, as this causes stability issues and can lead to crashes every time you join a race.
-It’s also important not to minimize the game once it’s running; minimizing can cause it to crash to the desktop when you try to return to it.

Now, after completing all these steps and following all the tips I’ve provided, the game should run perfectly without crashing! In my case, I was able to play for over 2 hours without any issues. My computer specs are:
