Starting Game
After starting the game and after the introductory logo and the warning that it is an 'adults only' game, the main menu will be displayed.
Here you can see the version number of the game as well as your statistics, i.e. what is your share in the total statistics of all players.

Click on 'Start' to start the game, but before that, check if you are satisfied with the game settings by clicking on 'Settings'.
There aren't many settings, and the only settings specific to Brothel Tycoon are the 'Slow Down' settings. We recommend that you leave them 'ON' to begin with, and later, during the game, you can turn them off.
After checking the 'Settings', we can start the game...
Intro
The game starts on Monday, July 1st (some year in the present) with Yvonne's arrival at the newly purchased facility.
After a short tour of the facility, Yvonne concludes that she needs an assistant for further work, and uses the computer to select one or more candidates for the job.
Basic data (age, class, body shape and attraction points) are displayed for each employee. In addition to the basic data, the data for a specific job is also displayed, as well as whether that job is a primary job or a secondary job. In addition, a picture of the employee in the clothes or uniform in which the employee will work if accepted for that job is also shown.
When choosing an employee, there is no wrong choice. It is up to the player to decide which employee is best for a specific job. Also, it is up to the player to judge whether he will take a more capable worker (class 'E' or 'D') and pay more, or whether a lower paid worker (class 'F') will be enough for him.
After selecting the candidates for the assistant job, the day ends and the game continues the next morning.

First Day at Work
The first day at work begins with an interview for the job of an assistant.
After Yvonne greets the candidate (or candidates, if she invited more than one), individual interviews for the assistant job follow.
Note: Yvonne does not have to hire any assistants on the first day, but in that case the whole process is repeated until she hires an assistant.

We do not recommend this because regardless of whether the facility is working or not, maintenance of the facility is required, and every day that the facility is not working is a pure loss.

After choosing an assistant, they will have a short tour of the cafe, and a short conversation, after which Yvonne goes to do some things outside the facility.
After Yvonne returns, together with the assistant, they should call the waitresses for a job interview.
At least three waitresses need to be invited, but more or less than that number can be invited.
As with the selection of assistants, there are three classes of employees available for waitresses ('F', 'E', and 'D'), and it is also necessary to evaluate according to the given data which waitress will be the best fit for that job.
The first working day ends with the selection of waitresses.
Job Interviews With Waitresses
The next day begins with individual interviews for the job of a waitress.
After a short introduction, Yvonne will ask the assistant for an opinion, and after that she has a choice: to hire or not to hire a certain employee.
After all job interviews have been completed, the work planner must be filled out. First for the assistant, and then for the waitresses.
The next picture shows how the scheduler works and what needs to be clicked for each selection.
By clicking on the name of the day, a specific day of the week is selected.

By clicking on the name of the shift, certain shift is selected (in the example above, only the 2nd shift is unlocked, so it is not possible to click on the 1st and/or 3rd shift). The shift that is tinted in green is active.

By clicking on the employee icon, the employee is placed in the selected shift. The blue background color indicates that the employee is already on the list for that day, while the green color indicates that the employee is available (free).

The number in the corner of the icon indicates how many more shifts (days) the employee has unfilled. The gray color of the background and the number '0' indicate that the work schedule has been completed for the employee.

By clicking on an employee in the list, the employee is removed from the list.

There are several rules when filling out the work planner: all employees must be on the list, an employee can only work one shift a day, and an employee must work five days a week.

The schedule of shifts, the number of employees in a shift, as well as the possibility that certain days of the week are working or non-working depends solely on the player.

After completing the work schedule, it is necessary to determine the prices that will be used in the facility.
Prices can be changed in the range from -50% to +50%
However, the price change directly affects the time the guest is willing to wait for the service. The lower the price, the longer the time, the higher the price, the shorter the guest's waiting time for the service. This time directly affects the satisfaction of the guests.
Although everything seems ready to start work, the assistant then informs Yvonne that they do not have a work permit and that it is necessary to call the inspection to give permission to start work.
Yvonne admits that she completely forgot about the inspection and agrees with the assistant to call the inspector the next morning.
With this agreement, another working day ends.
Meeting With the Sanitary Inspector
The next morning, Yvonne is a little late for work, and in the meantime, the sanitary inspector has already inspected the facility.
The inspector informs Yvonne that everything is fine with the facility, but that the only thing left to do is pay the compensation in the amount of 3500,oo
Yvonne then has a choice: pay the fee or seduce the inspector.
If Yvonne decides not to pay the fee but to seduce the inspector, the assistant will be against it.
Of course, that won't stop Yvonne from having sex with the inspector.
However, the assistant will still be angry about it, so Yvonne will give her a choice: either accept it or resign.
Whenever the assistant decides, the game continues with conversations with the waitresses. (note: in our example, the assistant decided to stay)
Also, after a short conversation, the waitresses sign an employment contract.
After that, everything is ready for the opening of the cafe.

Note: if the assistant resigns, Yvonne will still open the cafe, but she will have to hire a new assistant as soon as possible.

Although the coffee shop can work without an assistant, other functions such as employee evaluation do not work if there is no assistant employed.
Small Cafe, Live Mode
In the beginning, the cafe only works on the 2nd shift, so the game moves from the office to the cafe and skips the time to 14:50.
Exactly at 15:00 the first guests come to the cafe, and the staff appointed according to the work schedule is also here.
During 'live mode', especially in the early stages of the game, the player does not have many options. Player can turn on and off the display of the Serving Log, Staff Log, as well as increase or decrease the speed at which the game works in 'live mode'.
For easier management, the commands can be clicked with the mouse or using the keys on the keyboard 'F5' and 'F6' to display the Serving and Staff Log, and the keys on the numeric part of the keyboard '+' and '-' to speed up or slow down the game. The 'Pause/Break' button pauses or resumes games.
Every day at midnight, the game gives a financial report for the previous day, and after that, depending on whether it's a weekday or weekend, the game continues either in the office (if it's a weekday) or skips to 14:50 (weekend) and goes straight to the cafe.

A Day at the Office
Early in the game, Yvonne doesn't have many options when she gets to the office.
The management interface available to her is reduced to the most basic menu.
Note: changing the prices and changing the work schedule are allowed only on Mondays.
She can look at the financial report.
Also, she can view the employee report.
Or she can go directly to the cafe.
Meeting on Mondays and Evaluation of Employees
Unlike other working days, Mondays are different in the office. The assistant always works on Mondays in the first shift and Yvonne and she need to change the prices of the services, if necessary, but they also need to make an assessment of the employees for the past week.
At the beginning of the meeting, the assistant will present information about the business, information about employees as well as information about the company's financial situation.
After the discussion about the current financial situation, the evaluation of the employees follows. If there is a need for employee promotion or possible dismissal, the assistant will suggest it to Yvonne, and then she has the option of choosing.
The conditions for employee promotion are that their earnings and expenses ratio is greater than 1.75, i.e. the status is 'very good' or 'excellent' and that they have earned enough XP points to move to a higher class. The difference between the classes is 5,000 points each, which means that 5,000 points are needed to move from 'F' to 'E' class, 10,000 points are needed to move from 'E' to 'D' class, and so on. For each next class, 5000 more points are required.
If there is an employee who needs to be promoted, this will happen after Yvonne and the assistant evaluate all the employees.
After the evaluation of the employee is completed, Yvonne again gets the manager's menu with options, with the fact that she now has options for changing prices as well as changing the work schedule of employees.
After possible price or work schedule corrections, the game continues in the cafe.
Phone Call From the Assistant
One morning, Yvonne will receive a call from her assistant. In that call, the assistant will inform her that they have received approval to work in two shifts (1st and 2nd) and that she has installed new management software on Yvonne's computer.
There are two prerequisites for this call to happen: it is necessary that the item 'Profit & Loss' is greater than zero (which means that the company is operating positively, regardless of the balance of the Account) and the second prerequisite is that the date of the game is greater than August 1.

By getting the new management interface, Yvonne gets permanent access to the Job Market as well as permanent access to the Real Estate section.
As the assistant informed her that they were approved to work in two shifts, the first thing Yvonne wanted to do was hire more waitresses to work in two shifts.
After that she can check the Real Estate section where she can see that there is a Large Cafe that she can buy.
However, the price and possibility of buying a large cafe are not precisely defined, so Yvonne should call the real estate agency and arrange a meeting with their representative.
Meeting with Angela
In order to agree on the terms of buying a large cafe and office premises, Yvonne meets with Angela, a representative of a real estate agency.
After visiting the facility, Yvonne is interested in shopping, but the price is a bit too high for her, so in this case she will have the option of either paying the full price or reducing the price in some other way.
After they agreed on the price, it was agreed that the cafe will be ready for move-in in 10 to 15 days after Yvonne pays the advance payment in the agreed amount.
However, since there is not even a reduced amount of 10,000 on Yvonne's account, the purchase of the object will have to wait until the amount on the account is increased.
In the meantime, the new waitresses came for a job interview.
After job interviews and hiring new employees, the cafe can now work in two shifts.
After a few days, the balance on the Account reached the amount of 10,000 and now Yvonne can make an advance payment for a large cafe.
From that moment, the agreed period necessary for the renovation of the building begins, and the date of relocation is visible on the financial statement.
A Large Cafe and a New Office
Moving to a new space brings some significant changes. The number of guests increases by approximately 50%, and Yvonne gets the opportunity to further expand the facility by purchasing Security and Health Services.
There is also the possibility of upgrading the building by purchasing the Dance Club, but the prerequisite for this is that Yvonne has at least one 'A' class waitress employed.
The appearance of the Staff Report is also changing, and it is now possible to change the job of employees as well as directly dismiss employees through the Staff Report, without an assessment. In addition to all that, it is also possible to change the assistant.
A new option on the management interface is the event planner, but a prerequisite for event organization is that Yvonne has the Security Service.
Booty Calls
A week after moving into the new space, after the usual Monday meeting, one of the waitresses will come to ask Yvonne if they can have sex during working hours (for money, of course).

Important: for this scene to happen, the cafe needs to be open on Mondays during the 1st shift. If there is no waitress on the 1st shift - this scene will not happen!
Yvonne gives the waitresses approval for casual sex (Booty Call), and the assistant also gets the same approval.
Booty Calls have several conditions: the waitress (or the dancer as well) cannot go on a booty call if she is on shift alone, the action itself cannot last longer than 45 minutes and can only be once a week (the counter resets at midnight from Sunday to Monday).

Booty Call is a special event and the moment it happens, the game slows down to 'normal' speed (it is possible to turn it off in 'Settings'), an icon with a picture of an employee and the text 'Booty Call' appears. A star on the icon indicates that gallery is not yet unlocked.
Click on the icon stops the 'live mode' and the game shows the employee inviting the guest to a separate room.
The pre-agreed payment of the 'service' follows.
Which is followed by action.
At the end of the 'Booty Call', a star appears on the employee's info panel. For each booty call, the employee gets one star. A green star indicates that the employee had a booty call that week.
All sex scenes, once you have seen them live in the game, can be viewed again through the manager interface by clicking on 'Picture Gallery'.
Staying Healthy at Work
Why is Health Service important? All employees who work with guests (waitresses, dancers, hookers) should undergo a medical examination and receive a certificate. This certificate enables them to charge higher prices in the amount of 15%, and this percentage does not affect the satisfaction of the guests.



To activate the Health Service, select 'Health Service' from the 'Real Estate' menu and then click on 'BUY'. There are only two conditions for activation: the amount on the account must be greater than 30,000 and Yvonne must own a large cafe.


After the activation of the Health Service, it is necessary to select nurses from the job market. At this stage of the game, while there are no other active parts (dance part, hooker rooms), one or two medical nurses are enough.

The next day, after talking with the new employees (nurses) and adjusting the work schedule for them, the Health Service is active.

Examination of employees and obtaining certificates happens automatically like a booty call. When an employee is on shift (a waitress) and a nurse is free, she automatically goes for a medical examination.

During the medical examination, the waitress is not available to the guests, and the nurse icon and the name of the waitress who is currently being examined appears on the screen in the lower part.


While that icon with the image of a nurse is on the screen, it means that the examination is in progress, and it is possible to click on it.

Click on the nurse icon stops the 'live mode' and the game continues in the nurse's office.


The nurse will ask the waitress to take off her clothes, and after a short visual examination, the actual medical examination procedure will follow.




After the medical examination, the game resumes in 'live mode', but clicking on the event icon again is not possible (the number on the icon is no longer green, but red).


The event icon disappears when the counter reaches zero, which means that the event is over, the waitress returns to work, but now has a valid medical certificate, which is visible on her information panel.


The medical certificate is valid for ten days, after which the employee must undergo a medical examination again.

Nurses info panel is different from waitresses because they have no contact with guests, so they have no possibility of earning. The information panel for nurses shows how much their contribution to income is (bonus income & savings).


In addition to the price difference achieved by waitresses (+15%), nurses also contribute to the reduction of overall health insurance costs, which is visible on the daily financial report.


Dancing the night away
In order to get this new part of the building, you need to select the purchase of 'Dance Area' from the 'Real Estate' menu.


The conditions for purchasing this part of the building are, as can be seen in the picture, that you have at least one 'A' class waitress, guest satisfaction should be above 6.0 and, of course, you should have enough money in your account.

After purchasing 'Dance Area', you have the opportunity to search for dancers on the job market.


After you have chosen the dancers for the job interview, you can either go to the cafe or to the newly purchased 'Dance Area'.


The club is, of course, empty because you still don't have any dancers, so you can go back to the cafe.


In the cafe, you can notice that the curtain towards the dance area is now open and that the waitresses can go in and out of that part of the building.

Also, you can see in the images above that the main user interface has been upgraded with a button to switch from cafe to club and added a camera selection.

The camera selection in the cafe has no function (for now) because the cafe has only one camera.

The next morning, there is a job interview with the dancers.


In contrast to the employment of employees so far, in addition to the usual interview, in order to get a job as a dancer, it is necessary to pass an entrance exam that takes place in the next room.


After the dancer change into dance clothes, a pole dancing demonstration follows.


The dancer needs to show how good she is at pole dancing.


After the dance comes the final part of the exam, for which the dancer needs to show her boobs.

Some dancers have no problem undressing in front of an audience, while some may refuse to show tits.

The assistant will try to explain to such dancers that it is for the needs of the job and that it is necessary to take off your clothes and dance in front of the audience.

In very rare cases, a dancer may refuse to show her boobs, but then it is not possible to get a job as a dancer.

After the dancer (nonetheless) shows her breasts, Yvonne confirms to her that she got the job and that she will get her work clothes and work schedule later from the assistant.



After the job interviews, it is necessary to make a work schedule for new employees. The improved version of the management interface now does not allow switching to 'live mode' until the work schedule for all employees is filled.


After completing the work schedule, it is possible to start the 'live mode', however, although the 'Dance Area' is active, there are still no employees in it until 3 pm on the first day.

After 3 in the afternoon, the guests have arrived and the dancer can start her performance.


The Club view has two cameras, The first camera showing only the main stage where one girl is pole dancing, and two more dancing next to her.


The second camera shows the entire Club, where you can see the main stage, but also four sofas, two on each side.


On the sofas closer to the stage, the girls entertain the guests, they dance for the guests, and lap dancing is also included. On the lower sofas they entertain guests with pole dancing.


If there are not enough guests at the moment, then the girls sit on the sofas and wait for guests.

On the main stage, the girls always wear a top and a skirt. Other girls, who dance inside the sofas can, if they wish, be topless.

In addition to the usual dancing, whether on the pole, regular dancing or lap dancing, the dancers have (similarly to the waitresses) the possibility of additional income by having sex with the guests.


After the guest pays for the service...

Organising an Event
The security guards give you the option of working all three shifts, you also get a certain discount on insurance, and the most important thing is that by activating the Security Service, you get the possibility of holding events as well as special services (striptease for dancers, escort for hookers, etc).

In order to activate the Security Service, it is necessary to purchase it through the Real Estate menu.

After you have activated the Security Service, you have the option of hiring a security guards, and the third shift is also immediately available to you, so you can now assign employees to all three shifts.



After you have hired and assigned security guards to shifts, you can select Events Schedule from the menu and organize your first event.


Since the other parts of the building (dance area, rooms for hookers) are not yet in operation, the only event available to you is Topless Night, which is organized in the cafe, and it is about the waitresses serving guests in topless.


After choosing an event, you will receive basic information about it: name, price, safety and health risk, start time and duration of the event, as well as the projected number of guests and expected earnings for the selected event.

You can plan an event up to nine days in advance, it is not possible to overlap events, and to create an event you need to select the date and the employees for each individual category.

Each event has its own requirements for the number of employees as well as safety and health risks. It is necessary to select a sufficient number of employees so that all the numbers to the right of the employee icons are green. After that, you can click on "announce event".

If you decide to change the event settings (change event date or replace employees), then you can click on 'cancel event', make changes and activate the event again.


Tip: when choosing employees for the event, always choose the best employees you have because for a large number of guests you need to have employees who can serve the guests quickly.

When you are done creating the event, close the Events Schedule and you can go to the cafe in 'live mode'. When an event is set, then in 'live mode' a notification will be displayed about when the first event is scheduled.

One hour before the start of the event, guests who are interested in the planned event start arriving.

Important note: unlike normal guests, event guests do not leave the facility after consumption, but stay in the facility for the entire duration of the event.

When the event starts, the employees who are normally working according to the schedule at that time will be replaced by the employees you selected when creating the event.

After that, sit back and enjoy your first event.

After the event ends, the guests leave the building, and work continues according to the usual schedule.

Premium Service
Buying Hooker rooms has a few prerequisites, amount required to purchase, own a Dancing Club, employs at least one 'A' class dancer and has a guest satisfaction rating of 7 or higher.


After the successful purchase of Hooker Rooms, the opportunity to search for new employees on the Job Market opens up.



On the employee selection panel, in addition to the basic data, you can see the price of sex as well as the chance that it will happen (the hooker's main activity is sucking ♥♥♥♥♥).


In addition to this information and information on expected earnings, you can also see the special services that each employee offers.


The next morning, the selected employees come for a job interview, and after the usual interview, if Yvonne chooses to hire a girl, they go to another room for the entrance exam.


Yvonne will then instruct the employee to remove all clothing and prepare for the exam.


After the employee takes off all her clothes (except stockings if she wants to keep them), the entrance exam follows.

Additional rooms are limited to higher class employees.
So for rooms on the first floor the minimum class is 'D', and for luxury rooms the minimum class of employees is 'B'.

There is no point in buying additional rooms until you have the necessary classes of dancers, hookers and maids.

The cost of new rooms based solely on employee rating and satisfaction seems kind of wrong. I'm trying to buy the first floor rooms for $15K and can't, even though I have $3.4M in my account. Real estate is all about $, so you should be able to buy the additions without the employee ratings or satisfaction ratings if you have the money to buy it at a higher price.

I have also hired every available employee. No more available.

Yeah I figured out I have to max my prices and tank customer satisfaction until I could afford large cafe.
Then getting dancers to rank C made lowering prices to increase satisfaction not as painful.
Also have some issues with the attractiveness rating, it doesn't make a lot of sense. Would be nice if there were some features added at some point to increase that. :HappyMask:

@jbhtrue personally in early game, I increase prices for customer. It will stop you going bankrupt, but will lower customer satisfaction which makes my next upgrade (dance club) difficult to reach. another in game week with at cost prices might get me there (but I will be poor ;) ), but the side effect is, going poor never looked so good :steamhappy::steamhappy:

There is no universal formula that we can offer you. A lot of factors are involved in how a game will behave at a given moment. All parameters are important, age of the employee, attractiveness, class, presence of the assistant during work... Hourly index of guests, number of employees in a shift, time of day, day of the week... these are all factors that influence the behavior of the game.
