Welcome!
Hi everyone, I'm Alex Nares!

I've been playing KARDS for a few years now and have nearly completed my collection without spending a single penny! I have a pretty efficient grind and wanted to share how I earn the most Gold for the least effort.
First Win of the Day -- 600+ Gold per month
The first match you win every day earns you 20 Gold. This means you can earn 600 Gold per month just by getting online every day and winning 1 match.

"Training" matches don't count, it has to be in Ranked, Casual or Classic modes. Note, if matchmaking takes longer than 60 seconds to find an opponent, you can play against the AI and defeating them DOES grant the 20 Gold.
Daily Missions -- 1500+ Gold per month
Daily Missions are where you get most of your Gold.

Most missions award 50 Gold after completing it. You get 1 mission per day, so you can get 1500 Gold per month if you complete 1 mission each day. Make sure you have an open mission slot before quitting for the day, as you won't get any more missions if you already have 3 (and you'll miss out on the opportunity to get the Gold from them).

There are 31 possible missions you can get. All of them grant 50 Gold, except for 2 of them, which grant 60 Gold. This means the average gold per mission is 50.64, so technically all missions that give 50-Gold are yielding a "below average" amount and the 60-Gold missions yield an "above average" amount. So ideally, you want the 60-Gold missions to come around as often as possible. That said, you can increase your average gains from Daily Missions by using this simple strategy:

Reject Missions (like a pro)
You can reject 1 mission per day, which replaces that mission with a new random mission. To maximize your Gold earnings, always reject a 50-Gold mission every day for a chance to replace it with a 60-Gold mission. Doing this every day will increase your daily average earnings over time.

The 2 missions you want because they give 60 Gold:
Never reject these missions and always try to complete them first. Since you can't get duplicate missions, completing them allows you to recycle them back to the mission pool and get them again later.

- Win 4 PVP games
- Deal 60 damage to enemy HQs

Here is a list of the other Daily Missions, and I've classified them as either "Easy" or "Hard" based on how much time or effort they require to complete:

Hard Missions -- 50 Gold reward
Always reject these missions whenever possible. They are the least efficient because they give the same 50 Gold as other missions, but can take a long time to complete. At best, you have to play a minimum of 3 full matches to get the 50 Gold. At worst, you could spend a few hours losing 5-9 matches in a row and not gain any progress at all.

- Win 4 games with any major power
- Win 4 games against the AI
- Win 3 games with US as major power
- Win 3 games with Soviet as major power
- Win 3 games with Germany as major power
- Win 3 games with Japan as major power
- Win 3 games with Britain as major power
- Win 3 games with USA as an ally
- Win 3 games with Soviet as an ally
- Win 3 games with Germany as an ally
- Win 3 games with Japan as an ally
- Win 3 games with Britain as an ally

Note to the Developers, if you're reading this -- If you want people to play these "Hard" missions, I recommend increasing them to 60-Gold.

Easy Missions -- 50 Gold reward
These missions are easy because they don't require you to win matches. Whether you win or lose, you always gain progress towards the mission. Just create a deck and pack it full of cards that will progress this mission. Reject these missions if you don't have a "Hard" mission. Remember, the goal is to replace 50-Gold missions for a chance to get a 60-Gold mission.

- Deal a total of 45 damage to ground units
- Play 30 cards of US nationality
- Play 30 cards of Soviet nationality
- Play 30 cards of German nationality
- Play 30 cards of Japan nationality
- Play 30 cards of Britain nationality
- Deploy 20 tanks
- Deploy 15 Bombers
- Deploy 20 Fighters
- Deploy 20 Air units
- Deploy 30 Ground units
- Deploy 20 units with Blitz
- Deploy 15 units with Ambush
- Deploy 20 units with Guard
- Play 20 Orders
- Deploy 20 units that cost 2k or less
- Deploy 15 units that cost 5k or more

Bonus Tip - You CAN easily complete daily missions in "Training" matches against the AI. But you can't get "First Win of the Day" in Training matches. I usually play online against players first to get First Win of the Day, then switch to Training matches to finish a Daily Mission (if I still have 3 missions).
Conclusion
By following this strategy, you can earn 70 gold per day (sometimes 80), for a total gain of 2100+ Gold per month!

With that kind of money, you can get 21 basic packs per month (averaging 2 packs every 3 days) or 6 Officer Packs per month (averaging 1 Officer Pack every 5 days).

Remember these basic tips:
- Win 1 match every day to get the 20 Gold from "First Win of the Day"
- Reject a 50-Gold mission every day.
- Always reject any mission requiring you to win games (except the 60-Gold mission "Win 4 PVP games")
- Complete 1 Daily Mission every day to get 50-60 Gold

Good luck and enjoy!

Okay, thanks. I'm at level 50. I'll save up for the officer cards.

If you are new to the game and don't have many cards, I recommend Basic Packs first. You get more cards per coin and many of the common cards are still good. This will help you expand your arsenal and you'll have better options available for deckbuilding, which increases your ability to fulfill the objectives of daily missions and win games.

Later on, once you've collected many cards, I recommend switching to Officer Packs. These packs are more expensive but have a higher chance of getting Specials and Elites to finish your collection. There comes a point where buying Basic Packs becomes inefficient because you're spending gold to get duplicate commons that you've already maxed out on.

What should you buy, Officer Pack or basic pack?
