Very true, Dok. The meltdown after has been opening some people's eyes. Especially as there's people self harming and going into baby tantrums flailing (old enough to vote!) and the last one I saw was people discussing how they could poison people and generally advocating murder and all sorts of crazy and blatantly illegal stuff. Amazing how thin that veneer is for them and how quick they leap to such extremes.

The important thing to remember is that those reactions and attitudes on display were always within them. They were always capable of such hate, outbursts, petty vengeance, violence, etc. It's simply that the mask has slipped.

When shit like this happens, it really does highlight the negative stereotype against moderators. Some places have become rather.... interesting after the american election because obviously people can't handle not getting what they want. The very same people who were so insufferably smug 4 years ago even.
