Introduction

Threshold is a person-vs-person-vs-environment MOBA-like mode where the end goal is to get to 6000 points and blow up two enemy missile launchers.

If neither team has reached the goal before the 40 minutes has passed the win is awarded to the team who has blown up the most AA-launchers OR if equal launchers remain, the team who has the most points.
The points are not just an end goal but a means to get there.
  • At 1000 points your team gets a restoration area at the base that restores HP and stamina when inside it.
  • At 3000 points you get the bomb needed to blow up the enemy missile launchers
  • At 4000 points you get a Heavy Weapons Cache at the base that restores special gear(what your character has on their 3rd slot, e.g mines and grenades)
  • At 6000 points it takes 15 seconds less for the bomb to explode.
How to score points?
Capture zones (300 points)
  • There are two lanes with 3 zones each, once you have captured all 3 zones the neutral NPC disappear and allied NPC will come to help defend the missile launcher.
  • Until you have captured the first zone in each lane, the bots in their respective lane will have an extra shield and do more damage.

Retrieve different types of intel which you need to bring back to base.
  • Common intel(white, 200 points) of which there are 2 on your side, and 2 at theirs. Respawns every 2 minutes.
  • Team intel(red, 500 points) located close to the enemy base. The enemy team intel also gives your team the ability to see the outlines of the enemy team for 1 minute. Respawns every 4 minutes.
(remember to protect your own teams intel(blue) from the enemy.)

Capture computers(150 points)
  • Captured computers reveal the location of enemies close to it. White smoke means it is unclaimed, Blue smoke above means it belongs to your team. Red belongs to the enemy, and your outline will be visible when you are within its vicinity. When first capturing a computer, it will stay yours for 3 minutes, when recapturing it will only stay yours for 1 minute. After the time runs out there is a cooldown for 2 minutes when no one can capture it.

Kill the heavy officer(500 points)
  • This gives your team a shield and gives your team a buff that lowers the time it takes for the bomb to explode from 60 seconds to 15. It also lowers the time it takes to plant the bomb. The heavy officer spawns at the 34 minute mark.

Capture and deliver Grenadier kit
  • Bring back the kit to one of the two positions close to your base to have an allied bot with either a grenade or rocket launcher help defend the base. After the bot is killed, the kit respawns after 4 minutes. Spawns at the 36 minute mark.

Execute the support officer(70 points)
  • This gives a buff that lowers the next re-spawn time to 10 seconds to all teammates who are currently alive.

Execute the medic officer(70 points)
  • This gives an "item" that revives all dead team mates(who haven't been executed)
Map example
Here one can see an example from the Al-Malik Hotel map(the map does not show you which side you will spawn on) The yellow area is the spawn point. And you have to protect your AA-launchers and destroy the enemy's

You can see the medic officer inside the building up top, heavy officer in the middle and the support officer on the bottom next to the grenadier kit

You can also see the 4 common intel your team intel as well as the enemy's team intel
