Entities
Blind Ghoul

This creature resembles a "Nosferatu-like figure with elongated limbs." The key detail to remember is that the Blind Ghoul is blind but has exceptional hearing.

Tactics:
  • Move as quietly as possible.
  • Throw loud items (e.g., crowbars, vases) away from your location to distract it.
  • Lure the Blind Ghoul to a maintenance room and remove the fuse to trap it. Note: Test if the Ghoul is trapped before proceeding, as it may occasionally escape.

Recommended Equipment:

Identification Tricks:
If the entity sounds like scraping metal against the floor while walking, it’s the Blind Ghoul.

Stone Walkers

These creatures resemble the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who and only move when you’re not looking. A maximum of five can appear in a single match.

Tactics:
  • Lure each statue to a safe area near the exit but away from hallways.
  • Keep your back to a wall and assign at least one player to watch them constantly.
  • Tip: Use heavy gates to smash them temporarily, but note they regenerate after a few seconds.

Recommended Equipment:
No special equipment is required as long as someone is watching the statues.

Identification Tricks:
If the entity sounds like scraping stone, it’s the Stone Walker.

Hidebehind

This ethereal, shadowy entity teleports around the map and appears similar to the Bracken from Lethal Company.

Tactics:
  • Assign someone with a camera to force the Hidebehind to disappear temporarily.
  • Stay alert and communicate its presence to the team.

Recommended Equipment:
Note: Carry as many cameras as possible, as each is limited to five photos.

Identification Tricks:
If the entity stomps and leaves a black cloud where sound used to be, it’s the Hidebehind.

Banshee

The Banshee is a teleporting entity identified by its singing and ghostly blue appearance. It freezes targets before attacking.

Tactics:
  • Assign a lookout if earmuffs are unavailable.
  • Wearing earmuffs prevents the Banshee’s scream from affecting you.
  • Use crowbars like cameras to make it disappear temporarily.
  • Note: The Banshee can occasionally pass through walls and initiate an immediate attack.

Recommended Equipment:

Identification Tricks:
If you hear singing or see a blue glow beneath doors or down hallways, it’s the Banshee.

Kisser

The Kisser is a bug-like creature that hatches from eggs and moves quickly across ceilings.

Tactics:
  • Keep your loot bag light to maximize sprint duration.
  • Use teamwork to hit the creature with a dart gun or crowbar if it latches on.
  • Destroy eggs by throwing them to reduce the number of Kissers.
  • If alone, sprint into a wall to dislodge the creature if it latches onto you.

Recommended Equipment:

Identification Tricks:
If you hear hatching sounds or scurrying on ceilings, it’s the Kisser.

Pharaoh

The Pharaoh is a mummy-like entity with teleportation abilities and a stamina-draining orb projectile. This orb is unavoidable and significantly reduces stamina, making the Pharaoh a formidable threat when nearby.

Tactics:
  • Use lockers and vents to hide or evade the Pharaoh. This can force it to teleport or walk away, eventually causing it to despawn.
  • Keep an eye out for coffee or adrenaline shots scattered around the map to replenish stamina after being hit by the orb.
  • The Defibrillator will stun the Pharaoh for ~3-5 seconds after a successful jolt.
  • Listen for the Pharaoh’s distinct music cue. When active, stay alert, move carefully, and avoid detection.
  • If you’ve observed its movement patterns, attempt to loop the Pharaoh by breaking its line of sight. This should only be done once you understand its behavior.
  • The Pharaoh is only "physical" for about 20-25 seconds. Breaking line of sight during this time can cause it to despawn and stop its hunt.

Recommended Equipment:

Trickster

This entity is a demon-like clown that plays tricks on its victims. It is accompanied by Jack n Boxes that are triggered by cards he leaves around that offer good and bad results - the good result being the box that has a symbol that relates to the card you pick up. Instead of just killing you when he catches up, you have to go through what I call a "Just Dance" challenge. Hit the WASD, or whatever your keybinds are, when the indication reaches the box.

Tactics:
  • Avoid triggering the trickster by keeping a watchful eye out for a floating umbrella.
  • Open the boxes that appear around the map to advance until your eventual escape. These boxes hide keys and fuses.
  • You can hide, loop, or outrun the clown if you can create enough distance. He is also hydrophobic, so the patio (when it's raining) and the water gun are very much your friend.
  • Your other typical equipment (i.e tranquilizer, fire extinguisher, adrenaline shots are also useful here!

Recommended Equipment:

Identification Tricks:
The umbrella, laughter, and even the Jack n Boxes will be your first clue to who you are up against.
**Still waiting to confirm balloon and taser effectiveness.**

Equipment
Basic Equipment

Defensive Tools

Other Equipment

Note
All equipment is single-use. Once purchased, it’s stored in your personal locker at the back of the van. From here, you can equip any items alongside the default gear provided at the start of each map. Default equipment includes: 2 crowbars, 1 hacking device, 1 adrenaline shot, and 2 walkie-talkies.
Tips and Information
Fuses
When adding fuses to the vault, note that the third fuse unlocks special abilities for entities:
  • Hidebehind gains increased speed and removes the cooldown between hunts.
  • Banshee gains a dash attack, knocking down players in her path.

Exhibit
Inside the exhibit, avoid triggering security mechanisms. Navigate the security laser maze to retrieve the key from a statue. Tripping a security line will block access to this key until later in the game and alert the ghost to your location, possibly extending the lockout time.

Vault Puzzle
This puzzle is relatively easy once you gather the objective of it: cover the blue squares with weight, either your body or a heavy item such as a fire extinguisher or a crowbar, while avoiding the red squares. If these squares are triggered, a laser-like wall quickly paces the puzzle and lurches anyone on or near into the back wall where they will need to be healed. It is wise to have one person on revive duty. There may also be a cheese for this.

Overall Score
Your heist score determines your cash cut and is based on your contributions to the objective. To maximize your payout, make sure you actively assist with the main tasks.

Streaks
Streaks are set from 1-4 by the host in the lobby section. For each stage you complete your cut will increase by 10% each time with a maximum of 50% cut for the final stage in the streak run.

Hiding
Typically, your first response to danger may be to run, but hiding inside of lockers and under tables also proves useful if not the best course of action. If everyone is downed, the game is as good as over.

Movement tips
  • Crouching makes you quieter than walking or sprinting. If you're going up against an entity that is more receptive to noise, stealth is a very useful thing.
  • Sprinting and then crouching gives you the ability to slide. This can be a useful tool if you're trying to speed run the exhibit, clear the length of a room, or quickly trying to hide.
  • When sprinting, try not to use up your entire stamina reserve or the time to regain that energy is increased. When you are exhausting your stamina, it also causes the character to pant/wheeze alerting the entity of your location.
  • Your stamina is directly affected by the weight of your inventory. To maintain stamina, try to return items to the team bag as often as possible.

    Here’s how it works:
    • You start with 5 stamina bars.
    • For every 9kg of weight you carry, you lose 1 stamina bar.
    • At 35kg, you will lose a 4th stamina bar, but will not lose any more stamina bars no matter how much more weight you carry beyond this.

Equipment
So far, it seems all equipment is single use. The van gives you two crowbars, two hacking devices, and two walkies at the start with a chance of spawning equipment in the map. These items can be additional starter items or defensive materials such as earmuffs or cameras.

Misc.
You can throw treasure items into the loot bag...if you're feeling lazy...

You can break the Stone Walkers with the extinguisher.

I don’t have time to update the guide itself but the basic mechanics of the new entity is: don’t be in the room with it. If you can get out of the room and make distance, do that. It’s very hard to near impossible to hide from it.

Hey, guys, did anyone have any information about electric poltergeist?

I love this game, it's so much more fun than Payday!

If anyone has a video of the trickster cards and the corresponding box (the box that gives keys and fuses), and you are okay with me posting it in the guide, please message me or post it in the linked discussion in the "Final Words" column. I currently am not able to play it right now due to moving cross-country :)

I'm stumped as well on that one. Either it was bugged or in a very sneaky place. Did you document the seed number? I know the devs have a list of where items are for every map seed that can help for next time :)
We ran into an interesting situation. After long hours we could not get the escape key in the egyptan level. We have a clown, where we have to follow the cards. We can obtain every fuse, we finsih with the objectives, but there are not any card left to find, and the exit key was not it the middle of the lasers ( a mystery card was there). And one additional info, we also could not found the key for administrator 1... any suggestion ?

Are you referring to the cards that spawn the mystery boxes @gh0stk1d? Basically, the box that matches the card will be the box you want to open and the other will be trapped. I will try to make a video or throw some screenshots in here at some point <3

Can you add information about the cards that the Trickster drops?
