1-01. First of all, for achievement hunters, I recommend that you check out "Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror - 100% Achievement Guide" by Minxy. When Minxy says to clean the house for an achievement, then this is the list you need to accomplish that task.

1-02. In order to get several of the achievements for Chapter #1 (i.e. the base game), you must sometimes clean parts of the house and sometimes clean the ENTIRE house. Cleaning is very time-consuming, repetitive, and boring. If you miss any spot that is required to be cleaned then you won't get the achievement you were trying to get in that play-through, and you'll have to try it again.

1-03. This guide ONLY addresses the cleaning needed for certain achievements. It does not address repositioning/fixing items in the house, nor does it address throwing away items.

1-04. Since you get the cleaning supplies from the storage closet, you should start cleaning there. Clean from top to bottom as you systematically move from room to room, and even move to the porch outside.

1-05. To clean, click and hold the LMB (Left Mouse Button) while moving the mouse either up and down, and/or side to side. Sometimes the cleaning icon will change to indicate you've successfully cleaned a stain, but when you let go of the LMB it looks like the stain is still there. That is because some stains overlap, so what you're really looking at is a different stain.
