Yes indeed.. Ive seen alot of people struggle with what to do with the "shield of inspiration" when doing a "Laid bare" run, because you will have to complete blade the bolds questline in order to get his armor and then unburden it (+ all other relics except smiths hammer, seregated saw & pipelayers armor+ weap)

To do that you will have to complete the first 2 steps of NHero's questline as it intertwines with Blade the bolds questline, and that means you will have to give Nhero the "shield of inspiration" when you meet him in Festivity Row. HOWEVER, he will not take the shield un-remembered, and since you cant remember any relics in a LAID BARE run, you will have to "unburden" it instead, which will make Nhero accept it.

This brings us to the next issue:The Reservoir of pain that is located in festivity row, wont allow you to unburden anything yet, so you will have to run to R.O.P's next location at "The vault", unburden it here, homeward back (DO NOT KILL BOSS!) and run to Nhero that will now take the shield.
Rest of the run is pretty easy, just unburden everything, no more tricky stuff :)
