The Cardinal is your first CV to explore the galaxy. Carry your SV/HV Scout or Miner in the hangar and go for an awesome adventure.

You got everything you need for a good start : 9 hydroponics, Contructor, Fridge and food processor, med bay. With the 4 basic plasma turbines, you don't burn fuel with the shield on, thrusters and turrets off.

With core 1 stock, there's no need for expensive bridges and matrixes. You still got some CPU available to upgrade the thrusters.

1x 80k Harvest

Defense :

Compact Shield Generator
Hardened Steel hull with combat steel in front of warp drive
4x Sentry Turrets
2x Minigun Turrets

Upgrades :

+3x CPU extenders
+2x turrets hardpoints
+2x up to 4x fix weapons or drill module hardpoints
Group of 4 Back thrusters can be changed for advanced ion thruster
Group of 2 down thrusters with 2 shutter windows can be changed for advanced ion thruster
Fuel tanks can be changed for the large fuel tanks
Detector can be changed for Long Range Radar
