BEE2 (Bridge Element Editor 2) is a powerful tool designed for editing PTI elements and visuals in Portal 2. This guide will help you download, install, and use BEE2 to enhance your Mapping experience by allowing you to create custom test chambers with unique elements.

To download BEE2, visit the official BEE2 GitHub page and download the latest version. After downloading, extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer, ensuring the folder structure remains intact.

To set up BEE2, run BEE2.exe from the extracted folder.

To customize elements, access the Elements tab in BEE2. Here, you can you can drag new elements (e.g., screen, triggers, etc.) to include or exclude them in your elements pallet.

To change visuals, go to the Theme tab to select different visual styles for your test chambers. For custom textures.

To save your pallet, click the "Export to PORTAL 2" Button in BEE2 to export your custom content for Portal 2. After export, launch Portal 2 and make/edit a chamber to see the custom elements and visuals in the elements section.
