I found out that going above low shadow detail results in halving performance in some areas.
DXVK chagnes the renderer api from Dx9 to Vulkan resulting in smooth and stable image and more FPS all around.
Here is how to do it.



First download DXVK from github. https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
If link doesnt work just google dxvk ,find doitsujin / dxvk and go on from there

Note: Nvidia's Kepler architecture (most GTX 600 / 700 series) is no longer supported. Please use DXVK 1.10.3 in combination with these cards.

You need to extract archive twice (i use 7-zip, you should too)

Go to folderCopy into game main directory
example: C:\Program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\alan wakes american nightmare
