v1.1 Added new Berry Puree for foraging less berries, a unified way to ensure that you get enough for sugar. Balancing adjustments for Sugar and Yeast recipe & produce, you get the appropriate amount of sugar from berries and the Yeast produce should just be enough for the refinement process. To make up with the balancing changes of yeast, Added in a new recipe to make Yeast Culture! *** Tested and made sure that existing Vinegar Mash that are processing are not touched, should be safe to update!

just want a simple and faster way to make vinegar and be able to do that fabled canning thing or is it pickling? and make tons of it? Then this is for you! only needs potatoes, some berry foraging and empty bottles to start!

Adds a simple recipe to Ferment Vinegar from potatoes and Yeast, extract sugar from berries, refine sugar & get Yeast Byproduct for fermentation.

  • Needs Cooking 3. (Ingredients need to be Fresh, or be able to use Rotten at Cooking lvl7)
  • Mix Potatoes and Yeast into a Vinegar Mash and let it sit for a week. A done mash should be usable to turn into a vinegar. (lets just say the Yeast speeds up the process.)
  • When processing unrefined brown sugar, some yeast will be created on finish. Attempted to balance the sugar produce and get some yeast from refining sugar. (Should be enough to start making a Yeast Culture!)
  • Produce Yeast Culture! Make more Yeast by letting them multiply, should make more sense to get more by fermenting them!
  • Bowls and Stripped Cloths are returned on finish, ***Empty bottles are not returned when the Vinegar is consumed though (This one is way complicated, possibly make this mod incompatible with cooking mods, so i'm not tackling that.)

Used Show Food Stats to be able to check the rotten time indicator. You can use similar mods that does this. like eris_food_indicator etc.

Heya, typo in the script. Line 96 starts as:

]BerryBlacBerryBluek//BerryGeneric1 [...]

Should be:

BerryBlack/BerryBlue/BerryGeneric1 [...]

@JREALMZ Read its description better!
It says that in the processing of brown sugar, it produces yeast.
So by "refining" brown sugar you will also get some yeast. (already tested in game and it works)

Does using poison berries for a puree make products poisonous like it does for certain recipes in the base game?

Can you add some other pot to recipe? Other than just kettle - to extract shugar.
