FT-05 "Streiff" Jet Bike

The FT-05 was one of Ikuyo Aerospace's first successful commercial products. In the first half of the 21st century, the invention of light-weight BLDC motors, first intended for hobbyist quadcopters, quickly revolutionized civilian Aerospace. The FT-05 has remained mostly unchanged for the last 200 years. It's a motorcycle perched carefully on three electric-ducted fans. You don't brake, you turn. You don't climb or bank or yaw, you drive. Remember that, and it'll serve you well - or at least better than the RT-06.

• None: You can put a glock in the cupholder probably.

• Cheap Starter Vehicle: The FT-05 was designed precisely for engineers stepping out into the field for the first time. It's not as forgiving of mistakes as the Matsukaze, nor as cheap but it has one major-advantage - full 3D maneuverability. Even the simplest assemblers should have no problem cranking out the components for a Streiff in no time at all.

Unlike the Hummingbird, this thing I actually rather like. I think the whole speed/jet bike concept doesn't hold up too well in this game compared to skimmer or even traditional wheeled vehicles, but nonetheless I wanted to give my take on it. Unlike most speeders, this is entirely battery powered, meaning, despite a relatively short 15 min flight time (a fair bit better than your jetpack I might add), it's got tremendous utility early game. You can have this ready and built *almost* directly out of the drop pod.
