How to fix achievements

In this tutorial i'll show how to fix achievements

Step 1

Open explorer and go to this path: C:(Or D:)\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\AoCII

Step 2

Swap file names "AoC2" and "AoC2_Old"

Congratulations!

You fixed achievements :)

I'm still lost man. I'm scratching my head about how to get achievements.

There's already an AoC2_old.exe file, as well as an AoC2.exe. I have both already.

Recommended upgrade for this guide:
The fix can easily be made permanent, by:
1. renaming AoC2.exe -> to AoC2_New.exe
2. renaming AoC2_Old.exe -> to AoC2.exe

From this time on, Steam will launch the old (but renamed) exe file of the game and your achievements will unlock.
