there's no official lore i could find, so i made up my own :3

Once upon a time, Pawprint Point was the private land of an infamous fisherwoman. She cast spells on the land to enhance the fish caught there, created a fish rating system to prove her prowess in fishing. She spent many years fishing the land and creating new enchantments, making mystic mushrooms with strange qualities and taming wild crows.

She knew she was aging, and attempted one last spell. She took her Skull, her Rib, her Humerus, her Tibia and her Spine; she spread them throughout the land in final attempt to make the perfect fishing spot. Sadly, the Fishing Gods did not accept her sacrifice. Fishing is a peaceful and nonviolent pastime, so her bloody spell didn't work.

Doomed to a eternity of longing for her bones, the Fishing Gods took pity on the fisherwoman and recognized her good intentions. They spoke a prophecy "One day, a new Master Fisher will come to these parts. With a strong adventuring spirit and a drive for improvement, only they can properly put you to rest." Will you help the infamous fisherwoman finally rest?

The spectral skull is found in the far left of the map. It's on a ledge near the secondary shop and its pier. (though you do buy the metal detector at this shop, it is not necessary for this achievement)




To get to the skull, you can use two different blue mushrooms or get a friend to punch you onto the top level.

The first blue mushroom is on the left bank of the river, close to the beach. (This one is harder)



The second blue mushroom is on the far left side of the map, directly across from the bridge closest to spawn. (This one is easier)



Once you get to the top layer of the map, walk towards the ocean.



When you reach a cliff, make sure there is a platform below you and jump onto it.
Then interact with the pile of dirt in the corner and now you have your first Spectral Bone !!

The spectral rib is found very close to the spectral skull. It's on a ledge accessible by the same two mushrooms.



The first mushroom is easier to use here, as you can angle yourself onto the direct ledge instead of the top level.

Using the second mushroom, take a similar path towards the ocean but walk down the right side of the U shape and drop down onto the ledge.



Drop down onto the ledge, then interact with the pile of dirt in the corner. You will get the Spectral Rib.

The spectral femur is the last spectral bone on the left side of the map. It is in the back corner, opposite the skull and rib.

Walk to the last bridge on the river.




Continue down until you hit a wall.



Look behind the tree, and interact with the dirt pile to get the Spectral Femur

The spectral humerus is on the right side of the map, but it is in the back of the map, similar to the femur.

Walk across the last bridge and continue straight until you reach the pond that the river starts from. (It has a bench and a few rocks)



Using the closest blue mushroom, jump onto the top platform.





Walk down to the corner, behind the tree is the dirt pile. Interact with it to get the Spectral Humerus

The spectral spine is the close to the humerus.

Walk towards the lighthouse and stop before you drop down.



There are two ways to get this bone; you can drop down from the ledge above or you can attempt the parkour.

If you jump down, get to the edge of the platform and line yourself up with the dirt pile.





Then drop down and interact with the dirt pile to get the Spectral Spine.

The parkour starts closer to the lighthouse, at the small beach accessible by a ladder



Drop down and attempt the rock parkour until you reach the dirt pile or give up and do the easy route.





Good job !! you have all the bones !!

To actually get the rod, you need $500. If you're broke, go fishing lol

Warp back to the beginning using the Return to Spawn button. Walk to the waterfall nearest spawn.



Walk along the edge of the river into the waterfall.



Talk to the 'Spectral Hand' at the grave and purchase your Spectral Rod !!



Congrats! You now have the hidden achievement and are the proud new owner of a shiny shiny Spectral Rod! Go flex on your friends and prove your superiority !!
