Hedge Mod Manager is used for managing mods and comes with pre-loaded cheat codes for most Sonic titles and it works for every Sonic game excluding a few (Superstars).

To install:
1. Download the latest version of HMM[github.com] (HedgeModManager) by clicking on HedgeModManager.zip in the Assets section.

2. Install 7zip[www.7-zip.org] or WinRar[www.win-rar.com] in order to extract the file

3. Run the HedgeModManager.exe. Windows may issue a warning indicating that it doesn't recognize the executable; you can safely click on "More Information" and then select "Run Anyway." The mod manager should automatically detect Sonic Generations & Shadow Generations as two separate games in the game selector and manage the installation for you.

4. To set it up, launch HMM, go to Settings, select Shadow Generations as the game, click on Install Mod Loader, and check the box to enable the mod loader.

5. To install a mod, you can either click the Add Mod button and choose the mod folder or archive, or you can copy and drag the mod into the "mods_shadow" folder located in the Shadow Generations directory (which is typically found at 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SONIC_X_SHADOW_GENERATIONS')
