So these are some of the things I've tried to fix these problems that you can try too. I found these "fixes" across Reddit, Steam Posts, etc. As of now my game is starting but we'll see give it a day LOL

1. Check for Windows update.

2. Update your graphics driver.

3. Disable or uninstall 3rd party controller software as these are sometimes detected as cheating software.

4. Turn off GPU acceleration in Discord.
Voice & Video --> Scroll down to Advanced Section --> Hardware Acceleration toggled off

5. Disable full screen optimizations
Steam --> Right Click Call of Duty --> Manage --> Browse Local Files --> Highlight "cod" application file with a Left Click --> Right Click and select Properties --> Compatibility --> disable full screen optimizations

6. Don't run program/game as administrator
Steam --> Right Click Call of Duty --> Manage --> Browse Local Files --> Highlight "cod" application file with a Left Click --> Right Click and select Properties --> Compatibility --> Don't run program/game as administrator

7. Verify Game Files Integrity
Steam → Right Click Call of Duty → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

8. Enable Graphics Performance Settings
Windows Search Bar type “Graphic Settings” → Call of Duty HQ → Options → High Performance and Enable “Don’t Use Optimizations for Windowed Games”

9. Delete Call of Duty Document (Honestly not sure what this could do to help but I tried it LMAO)
Windows Search Bar type “Documents” → Click Documents → Find Call of Duty File → Delete File

10. Launch the game through Geforce Experience.

11. Close every non necessary program and overlay via Task manager.

12. Try reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistrutables

13. Update steam app

1. Redownload Call of Duty

2. Downgrade your Graphics Driver to the Recommended Drivers
Modern Warfare 3 has old “recommended” graphic drivers that you could try as maybe a new driver you installed is bad. This recommendation is from January.
