Gameplay Basics
You play Glyphica by typing the words that come to attack you. There are two modes to play: a challenge mode and endless mode. Achievements can be best earned during endless mode.

Each weapon you have is tracked for DPS (damage per second). The DPS statistic appears to be computed based on actual damage dealt, and not a theoretical maximum. So if you have one weapon hitting all the enemies that will have a higher DPS than another weapon that may deal more damage per hit.

Weapons that spawn will have a harder time doing damage and getting kills than weapons that are always around. Upgrades that allow you to spawn with more letters will most significantly impact your results.

For any of these achievements you'll need to be relatively capable as a typist. I recommend you be able to beat 3 bosses in at least one challenge before attempting achievement runs.

This guide is all as of October 2024, and your experience may vary as the game progresses through Early Access. In particular, I suspect many of these achievements to get easier over time, and I suspect new achievements may be added.
Perfectionist Achievements
There are two achievements for surviving in endless mode.
  • Typist - reach 500 perfect input.
  • Perfectionist - reach 1000 perfect input.

These are easier to get early on in a run than later, as you will have fewer total words to worry about. The biggest issue is your weapons destroying words before you can finish typing them. Drone weapons are ones to avoid, but the others you can get a sense of where and how they spawn and work around them. Upgrading your main weapon and maybe one other weapon will give you the most control of when enemies are destroyed, and focusing on one or two upgrades will allow you to scale the damage well on those weapons.

If you use the Scapegoat augment and add a drone weapon it becomes easier to do this, as drones can be sacrificed instead of losing your streak. (Thanks to Stenk on this tip!)
Endless Mode Survival Achievements
There are two achievements for surviving in endless move

  • Determination - Survive 20 minutes in endless mode.
  • Persistence - Survive 30 minutes in endless mode.

For each of these you will need to be in endless mode. Try each of the weapons and work through combos that you like. Don't be afraid to leave weapon slots open, as your upgrades will be split across fewer weapons and give you better results for each of them.

You may find these happen automatically when you do other achievement runs.
DPS Achievements
There are 9 achievements for DPS, one for each weapon currently in the game.

For each of these you will probably do better in endless mode as you won't have artificial ends to your run.

Start the run with your main weapon and a single other weapon of your choice. As those two weapons get upgraded they will deal damage and scale well. You may eventually need to pick a third or even a fourth weapon, but you should get the first two as upgraded as possible first. Damage upgrades are good, but anything that allows you to hit more than one enemy more frequently will also improve your damage. For weapons that spawn, anything that increases spawn rate or duration will dramatically impact your DPS.

I have been able to get 2 DPS achievements in a single run, but generally you'll probably only want to focus on a single one. Not every weapon lends itself to this as well as others. Start by experimenting with each weapon and find the ones you like best, and start with those to get a feel for how these runs go.
Trial Mode Achievements
There are achievements for each main weapon to complete Trial Mode and to complete Trial Mode with Omen VI.

For each of these, get familiar with each weapon and is strengths and weaknesses.

Repeater requires a lot of typing to do damage; it excels early game, but having one or two remote weapons really helps the consistent damage output later on so you don't have to type incessantly to continue dealing damage.

Heat Ray struggles early game, as it can only fire in one direction. Once you get upgrades it can cover a large amount of the board. Key strategies are to add some turrets and/or Sentry to help mop up anything you didn't completely kill with the ray. Turrets work well because the Heat Ray doesn't turn instantly - you can spawn a turret, then as the Heat Ray turns towards that word type another word to turn back. The turret will do more damage to the target than the Heat Ray.

Barrage is similar to repeater, though it has broader area of damage and penalizes frequent use. Drones pair a bit more effectively than turrets here, but otherwise is fairly similar to the Repeater.

Splatter Shot deals area damage similar to Barrage, and deals damage over time more like Heat Ray. Something like Sentry or Guardian to mop up any stragglers is helpful here. Drones pair a bit more effectively than turrets.

Having one each of turret, drone, and remote weapons is often quite effective at mopping things up. Experiment with different combinations.
Codex Achievements
Complete each page in the Codex by unlocking augments. You'll earn credits by playing. There should be plenty of opportunity to earn enough to unlock the full codex while going for the other achievements, so there shouldn't be any need to farm beyond that.
Loot and Word Achievements
There are two achievements for picking up loot, one each at 500 and 1000 pickups. This should happen organically over the course of playing. Unless you are avoiding loot, which could be a fun challenge but won't help you with this achievement.

For the word achievements: type. 1 million and 5 million words will take a while. Beyond just playing the game I have no real tips on this one.

There is an easy way to do Typist & Perfectionist by using Drone Augmentation "Scapegoat" (sacrifice a drone when you mistype)

Combine this with drone weapons (minefield, spectre & hunter) and this should do it.
