Today we're taking a look at Trash Goblin a new indie game where you are a trash-to-treasure vendor in a fantasy medieval village. The game's demo was featured during the Steam Next Fest event that ran through late October 2024.

Trash Goblin caught my eye because I'm always looking out for a chill game that lets me take my time and complete simple tasks. I call them "podcast games" and they rank fairly high on my favorite genres ranking.

In Trash Goblin you play as a goblin who is running a trash-to-treasure store in a fantasy medieval kingdom. You'll buy and collect junk, clean it off, spruce it up and then sell it to a lucky customer. Rinse and repeat...literally.

Trash Goblin gameplay seems solid from the demo alone. It's a good idea and seems executed well. I'll be curious to see how people recieve the full game when it releases on Steam on November 6, 2024.
