Faster way IMO is to get the Aluminum Power Bat (one of the randomly selected power-ups when you base-hit the CPU's power-up pitch, i.e. Spitball etc., so you'll need to strike out on purpose and wait for them to throw it), then select the Aluminum Power Bat and switch to Tee Ball. You'll maintain any power-up this way, and you can just spam home-runs. With Escape key you can net around 6 home-runs per minute.
