hidden badwater sources under the ruins in the middle. very cheap. do not recommend.

Good map. completed normal, Folktails.
Had to really priorities water to start. I used a lot of dynamite to divert water off the waterfall and create a usable area at the top.

The mines are really close together? I only used one, was it meant so one could be efficient the other regular? My vision is not good enough to play Frostpunk but I tried, I don't remember the mines in that being right beside each other if that was the reference. I was just curious.

The Badtides make this map ROUGH. Super amazing, and completely unintentional (given the release date), challenge map!

I made a dam across the river's source, but on cycle 8, the drought hit and all the water I had stored just VANISHED, even the river is basically empty

Idk if it is a bug in the base game or if it just affects this map, but the latter third of the river transmuted into bad water when the bad tide began even though the bad water had all been diverted. Also, at the end of the drought, water teleported through the closed flood gates and raised the water level in the river while the reservoirs were refilling.

I have a suspicion this is difficult to beat on hard mode with the water sources in the centre and everything

This map was so much fun! Once I established my colony in the basin and had completely dealt with the drought and bad tides I got the idea to move everything to the top level and then completely flood the bowl which took forever but was awesome to see.

Bad tides on this map must be devastating :o
