After obtaining this achievement, I finally completed all achievements in CIV5. Once I determined that I had the necessary score to win after 70 turns, I withdrew my army to my homeland to await the end of the game. Aside from the southwestern territories of Africa, I only acquired the southern territory of Madagascar to eliminate Germany’s foothold in the east during this round. I aimed to delay the discovery of Italy as much as possible. If any major powers and Portugal declared war on me, I would reload the game, declare war on those powers myself, or lure them into attacking other African countries. Portugal is not an unbeatable opponent, but it's not advisable to waste time fighting them.

In the early game, I recommend that at least one of the two cities you build be near a lake or river. Make sure to construct all facilities that can enhance culture and produce Great People there, and don’t forget to include gardens and two wonders.
