Intro
You wanna play Sol Badguy? You wanna force those disgusting mix characters to bend to your will? This is the guide for you. Today we'll be going over the basics of the funny fire guy.
Character select
The first step of playing Sol is to select him on the character select screen. He's the first character hovered over if you're player 1. If you're player 2, you have to go one character to the left, off of Ky Kiske.
Now that you've selected Sol Badguy, you might be asking an important question.

"Which color should I use?"

Now, lesser Strive players would try to tell you that you should just choose whatever color you like the most, or install mods and find a cool custom color that you really like. These people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. In order to win, you have to select color 11, if you don't, you will be ♥♥♥♥ at the game. This means you have to purchase the Extra Colors Pack, but it's worth it for the improved gameplay.

Moves
This is where Sol gets fun. Let's talk about Sol's moves. We'll only be going over his five most important moves, the rest you can ask me about in the comments, but these are the main ones you need to know.

FORWARD HEAVY
Sol's gameplay revolves around Forward Heavy, a massive move that's great for combos and catching your opponent off guard. This move is done by inputting forward on your controller and pressing the "Heavy" button. It's his highest damage move so it's really important you learn what combos into it. If you land it and get a random "COUNTER" it'll bounce your opponent up, allowing you to hit a second Forward Heavy! It's also a very good button in neutral, as it's quite quick and long reaching, and it's your best option when the round starts!
STANDING SLASH
Standing slash is a very good move because your opponent will simply sit there and let you keep pummeling them while they block, which slowly does chip damage overtime! It's performed by keeping the stick neutral and pressing "Slash". It's great, but it's not really good for anything else. There's also a bug that causes you to do a different move randomly when inputting it for some reason and I can't figure out how to replicate it, but hopefully it's fixed next patch.

VOLCANIC VIPER
This is Sol's classic move, Volcanic Viper. Performed by doing a "Z" motion on your stick and pressing "Slash". It's not that great right now as there's currently a bug which makes it impossible to roman cancel, but even then, when people are hitting you while you're blocking, if you do this move, they just let you win for free! It's great! However another bug causes you to seemingly be unable to block when this move is blocked, and it guarantees a random "COUNTER" but that'll all likely be fixed in the next patch.

JUMPING HEAVY
The second to last of the moves we'll be going over for this guide is Jumping Heavy, performed by being in the air and pressing "Heavy", you can do this move after an airdash and it will combo into Forward Heavy, and if it's blocked somehow, you can just pressing Standing Slash and they'll keep blocking it and eventually get chipped out! It's wonderful!

HEAVY MOB CEMETARY
This is Sol's BEST move, it's a fullscreen grab that's completely unavoidable and does MASSIVE damage!! It's performed by having 50 tension and spinning your stick around clockwise like 4 or 5 times, then pressing "Heavy". Just go use this move for yourself, it's absolutely insane. You can even Roman Cancel it after the explosion and combo into Forward Heavy for his highest damage combo!!
Conclusion
So what have we learned? Sol is a fast character with good, high damage moves and an undodgable grab that does MASSIVE damage. Your main goal is to combo with Forward Heavy until you have the Tension required to do Heavy Mob Cemetary, and then let her rip!! Have fun destroying all those Millia players, and I'll see you all when you get to Floor 4, come challenge me if you see me, and have a great day!
(Please note I am not at fault if you are demoted because of this guide)
