Shadow Mark
Hitting other players with a dark fire move gives them a status that causes them to create a shadow mark when they land. They can influence where the mark gets placed by tech rolling.
Only one shadow mark can exist at a time. If a second mark is created, the first one will explode.


Neutral Special
Tekt shoots out a dark fireball that creates a shadow mark when it lands after bouncing once.
Since this is Tekt's only move that can create a shadow mark without hitting someone, you can use this to detonate existing shadow marks.

Forward Special
A forwards grab. You can turn around once you grab someone to throw them the other way. If a shadow mark exists and you're on the ground, hold down special to use a stronger throw that teleports whoever you grab to the mark.

Up Special
Tekt creates shadow wings and flies upwards a bit. This move is stronger at the very start.

Down Special
Dive into the ground before emerging with an attack. You can move while hiding, but the timing you exit at can't be changed. Exit the ground where a shadow mark is placed makes the attack much stronger and gives you brief super armor.
Using this move in the air gives you a small jump forward before diving downwards, once you hit the ground the move continues like normal. Hold downwards while diving to fall through platforms.
