This game modification introduces two new fuel cans: one with 20 liters and another with 10 liters, and change the capacity of the vanilla gas can from 10 to 5 liters, also add a minimal chance of all gas cans to spawn full in car trunks because it makes sense.

Players must now use a hose to extract fuel, adding a new level of strategy and resource management.

This mechanics not only enhances immersion, also forces players to carefully plan their fuel usage and make tactical decisions about gas.

Works better (In my opinion) with high rate of fuel consuption on vehicles (i play with 2x) and very low spawn of gas in cars and fuel stations, nomad stories becomes really challenging.

With these innovations, the gameplay experience becomes more exciting, raising tension and strategic planning in every trip.

  • Autotsar Trailes and Filibuster Rhymes' Used Cars! - Animation Beta compatible.
  • Full compatible with save games, but u need to loot in a new area that you have not explored to find a hose and be able to siphon gas or spawn it from debug mode, and if u have full vanilla gas cans they will lose half of the gasoline inside.
  • You cant fill gas cans with water.
  • FuelAPI mod NOT NEEDED and probably not compatible, cause that mod is full of errors (at least for my bunch of mods).
  • Using vanilla radial menu icons to siphon from cars, some new icons for vehicles and trailers gas tanks (deplete and fill) and the trailer hitch action (these last its because the "+" and the "-" looks horrendous and the hitchs looks better (you can see this in the images).
  • Weird issue: If u have instaled the Water Trailer mod, you will need the hose to pump water.
  • ¡TAMBIEN EN ESPAÑOL!

This mod is intended to work like vanilla gas and is not compatible with any mod that change fuel mechanics.

PD: Im not the original author of these modification, i only make a "remix" with 2 mods and some edits by my own:

Please share any feedback on bugs or ideas to improve the mod.

Apparently it is not compatible with the ZRAP mod gallons, as only the option to remove the gasoline appears, however, it is not possible to put it in the car.

@Jack Rossman the original mod Siphon Need Hose - Glowup have this feature, in my game was giving me errors because i dont use that mod and i decided to errase that part to make it work properly for me, so, you can suscribe to the original mod and mine, and active the original mod after my mod, so you can have the changes to the jerrycans and the new cans, and the compatibility with Fuel Types Framework. Hope help you.

Heyo.
Any chance for compatibility with Tread's Fuel Types Framework?
Don't worry, I'm not gonna blatantly ask for this without offering to help with this feature request if you need it.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK :3
