How to Hold egg for a Perfect Time
Vytvořil: gulapula
In Egg Squeeze, the Pong mini game corresponds to exact times. You can use this to hold for exactly 2 seconds, 3 seconds , 4 seconds and so on.

The Pong Game
In the third day ( Or infinite Squeeze ) you unlock the Pong Mini Game. Using your mouse you can move the Pong paddle Up and down and play Pong while holding the egg. This might seem like one of the many joke additions, but it's arguably the most useful tool in Egg Squeeze. By counting the number of Wall and Paddle hits, and timing your release to be in sync with the game, you can consistently hit 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 seconds, as well as 2.5,3.5 etc.
The Trick
When you first hold down left mouse button to Squeeze the egg, the pong ball is shot to the right towards the right wall. By releasing the frame there is a one pixel gap between the ball and the wall, you will consistently hit 1 seconds of hold time. I like to call this a 1 Waller, as it is when you release the egg as the ball hits the wall for the first time. If you hold a bit longer and let the ball hit the wall, then release as the ball hits your paddle, you'll achieve a hold time of 2 seconds. I call this a 1 hitter. If you let the ball hit the wall a second time and release, you'll get 3 seconds ( Two Waller ). If you let the ball hit the wall a second time, then hit the paddle again, you get 4 seconds ( Two Hitter ). All Even hold times correspond to a Hitter, a one hitter = 2 seconds, a two hitter = 4 seconds, 3 hitter = 6 seconds, 4 hitter = 8 seconds, 5 hitter = 10 seconds. Likewise, all Odd hold times have a corresponding Waller: 1 Waller = 1 second, 2 Waller = 3 seconds, 3 Waller = 5 seconds, 4 Waller = 7 seconds, 5 Waller = 9 seconds.

Release on this frame, where there's a one pixel gap for a perfect time

Release on this frame, where there's a two pixel gap for slightly earlier.

Release when the ball and paddle touch for a bit later.

Decimals / Inbetween numbers
In order to use this trick to get numbers like 2.5 , 3.5 , etc. just release while the ball is in between the paddle and the wall. To get 2.5 seconds, do a two hitter normally, but release once the ball is half of the way to the wall, and you'll get 2.5 seconds. You can split the space in between the paddle and ball into other fractions ( Thirds, Quarters, Fifths ) to get increments of .33, .25, .20 etc.

The Strat
In conjunction with the Egg Meter ( Which displays the tenth place of the final time -1 ) and buddy (which tells you whether the final time will be odd, even, or exactly 9 seconds ), you can use the Pong
timing to perfectly edge close to the minimum time that that screen can give. For example, with eggmeter at 8 and buddy with one flag, the minimum time for the egg to break is 3.9 seconds, therefore you can do a 2 hitter and release just a bit before the 4 second mark to make sure that you're always safe from breaking no matter the rng, and that if the rng is the minimum time, you are really close to the max. This strat is basically the same without buddy except the minimum time is always 3 seconds + ( eggmeter + 1 )/10 . Another thing to note, since when buddy has two flags down ( or no flags up depending on the wording ) the final time is guaranteed to be 9.XX seconds, you know down to the tenths place the final hold time. With pong and using the in between strat of dividing the space in between the paddle and wall, you can get really precise and guarantee a 90%
hold time.

In retrospect, it's way easier to just count the number of hits between the paddle and the wall, which is always a second anyway.
