(All information at the moment is preliminary)

At 5:29PM, our deputy's were revived a phone call of a caller saying her boyfriend was threatening to kill her and sister. She said he had a history of violent outburst, and hated police officers. She stated she was unaware if her boyfriend had possession of any weapons.

At 5:37PM when our first deputy arrived on scene and got out of his patrol car, he was instantly met with heavy gunfire from a BR-15 type weapon. He was struck in the chest 3 times. Responding deputy's and our SWAT team were met with more gunfire, but were able to successively extract our wounded deputy. He is in extremely critical condition at this hour at a downtown Bricksville hospital.

At 6:08PM the SWAT team was able to move behind the house the suspect lived in and shot the suspect multiple times after he raised a weapon at them. It is unknown at the moment the suspects motive for these crimes. The caller was found safe a few blocks away."
