Since 1.8.8 you can mentor employees making them skill up faster.

How to set up?

To mentoring, you must choose a worker as mentor and set mentor in his role panel.

How do you can see it is mentoring?

Now this worker will start to mentor others in the same way that socialize witth employees works.
The mentor will stop their tasks and will go to an employee and will start to talk with.



You can see how the mentor has a "mentoring" state.



Effects

While mentoring, the mentoree reduces his effectiveness too.

Why is not mentoring?

  • Mentor principal role must match mentoree working on same current task type.

I think skill growth depends on mentor's skill level, the job satisfaction of both mentor and mentee, the mentee's effectiveness, their compatibility and skill bonus in that room.
