I recently tried the Axis Wehrmacht Skins[www.strategycore.co.uk] mod, the only skin mod I could find online for the game, and decided to try the editor for myself, hoping to find something interesting there.

Most of Thor's NPCs models resembled Axis uniforms, slightly different in color and lacking insignia, until something unusual caught my eye.
Ladies and gentlemen, we got her:

Helena Hellsten aka Helen aka Hel aka the operator of the flying Panzerklein

So, I managed to make a simple mod that adds a new character preset for both Axis and Allies.

Unfortunately, skin tone didn't match and part of the necklace was missing. This problem also exists in the original game, the developers haven't fixed it.






I fixed the neck, changed the face color slightly, and upscaled the face texture a bit with AI.

Maybe not perfect, but I'm too lazy + skill issue + nobody will notice anyways.








I also did a white hair option. I originally wanted to do more, but importing textures is a real pain. Some of them don't work, some other crash. Also, creating new instances of the model can lead to creepy artifacts in the game, like some props being swapped with hair props or vice versa, props being placed on the head instead of hair. I'm not very good with graphic editors anyways, especially without information on how the texture will be placed on the model.

You can also choose the white hair variant by cycling through the head options on the second character creator screen.
