So, super simple fix that worked for me, I'll walk you through everything.

go to the windows search button. type

"Change the resolution of the display"

it should take you to

Settings = System - Display,

Once there (depending on the version of windows you may need to scroll down) click the "Graphics" option,

Once you are therem you'll most likely have to manually find the typing of the dead application from the list listed in the apps section OR you'll have to find it yourself with the browse option. very simple to find (In case you are braindead and can't find it I'll list the path here also)

This pc - program files (x86)- steam - steamapps - common - typing of the dead

Once you have the app click it and select "options"

then you'll want to change from "High performance" to "power saving"

Done! should work without crashing now, if it still crashed sorry cant help you
