Introduction
Before starting, just wanna say that we (Meika and I) played this game casually. Since we struggled with the controls and what the game wanted from us, we thought we'd make a guide and put it here. It was an oddly charming game and we are actually playing/played through all 3 routes. Just giving a warning that some of the information here may be incorrect or unspecific as we simply built this off of what we observed and will edit the guide as we find new information!

There are 3 kinds of boyfriends/routes in Miss Popularity. Which boyfriend you go for dictates the kind of stats you want to pursue in-game. The good thing is that you aren't on a limited timeline so you can take and will have to take your time grinding stats and money in order to afford clothing, makeup, a present, and any other fun activities.

There are also fun personality quizzes scattered throughout the game too so have fun <3

We're also unsure what the controls are to the game like if there is a menu where you can check stat progression. Nothing we have tried works aside from regular controls for walking around! Also don't press F2, our game crashed/quit out haha
Here are the controls we do know:
WASD to move through the world
Mouse to shift the camera view
F1 checks the current objective (i.e. if you need to meet your friend; this won't always tell you where to go though)
Esc to see the menu; you can load a new game and see settings here

You can also find the safe station in your room at the mirror! Name the save and click save then it'll appear in the list.

Everyday you will have between noon to 11pmish to complete your activities. There's no need to attend classes (there aren't any). You can refresh minigames (pink portals) by exiting and entering the area again or interacting with other pink portals. Yellow portals denote travel to other areas. By the way, you can not only check what the portal is based on the name that appears at the bottom of the screen but also what meter or stat it might raise by looking at the symbol next to the name.

The main areas you can visit are Home, the Street (outside your home), the Park, the School, and the Shopping Mall. Each of these locations have a collection of minigames and scenes that will assist your day-to-day maintenance, money-making, and boyfriend-getting.
Meters and Stats
First priority, there are Meters on the lower left to keep track of denoted by these symbols:
Sun
Apple
Home
Girl

And a screenshot here!

By the way, we (Meika and I) have no idea what occurs if these meters get too low. That's for you to lovingly find out... lol

The 1st meter (Sun) is your relief. The lower this gets, the more exhausted your character will be. Perform these activities to raise this meter:
-relax at the mall's 2nd floor salon (costs $5 and the best way to increase the meter)
-listen to music at home
-ponder at the pond, which is at a park bench
-see a movie at the mall (also costs $5 and can also increase the meter high!)

The 2nd meter (Apple) is your health or general well-being. Perform these activities to raise it:
-eat food at home
-perform fitness at the mall's 2nd floor gym
-shower at home
-get hair treatment at the mall's 2nd floor salon

The 3rd meter (Home) is family time or your family's feeling of being appreciated by you. Perform these activities to raise it:
-talk to your mum and pops at home (dad is inside the house, mom will be outside in the yard)
-cook at the stove
-help mum bring bags home from the mall (which is a great teleport back home)
-pet a cat on the street

The 4th meter (Girl) is girlfriend time or your friend's feeling of being appreciated by you. Perform these activities to raise it:
-dance at the disco which opens from 7pm on at the mall (it's the same hallway as the studio and on the right)
-chat on the phone at home
-chat in person down the street from your house

Both your family and friend will have a couple different conversations with you but of course it will become pretty boring after awhile. As far as we know, there are many cutscenes you can skip and others you can't. When it comes to Fam and Friend, if there is a (time) meter running below, then you probably can't skip it haha.

Second priority, there are also Stats to look after too:
Running Shoes / Sporty
Music Note / Musical
Star / (We legit don't know what to call this except I call it 'good-girl points' lol?)
---
Hair?-looking ass? / Romance
Diamond / Elegance
Sunglasses / Originality
---
Question Marks / Learning

The first three (Running Shoes, Music Note, and Star) are related to which stat your preferred boyfriend likes. See the Boyfriend Routes below for which goes with which. Grind these with minigames over time and you can also unlock new, better jobs depending on the stats you grind. Have a look at the board in the school library for which stats you need in order to unlock those jobs.
And also here for your convenience:

The next three (Romance, Elegance, and Originality) are related to what kind of looks your boyfriend prefers. These are based on and can only be increased by the clothing and makeup you purchase at the mall (clothing in the 1st floor's clothing shop and makeup in the 2nd floor's salon).

In order to unlock the next set of cutscenes/meetings with your BF, you'll need to grind money to afford the increasing costs. This happens very early on (with the first cutscene) so start early! You can keep track of what 'level' you are by checking the item description in-store before purchasing (i.e. Level 3 Originality +13). There are different variations of each set of clothing so you can attempt to put together a fun outfit. It may not always be possible though haha... See Best Jobs after Stat Minigames for more info.

The last stat (Learning) is only really necessary for unlocking certain jobs. You may also need to raise this stat in order to unlock the new palboy cutscene and/or speak to the NPCs with a ! above their heads nearby. Either way, the game wants you to increase your 'knowledge' so you know which dialogue choice to pick in the upcoming boypal dialogue
See Stat Minigames for the locations.
Boyfriend Routes
We haven't yet finished the Rebel route so we'll come back for that later!

These are sorted by type and we will also give you tips for what to do on each route. The narrative is well... it's not Oscar-winning but it's ripe with tea. Each route hits similar plot points as well. Just be aware that a lot of the game is wandering around trying to find where your boyfriendy is so take your time and search! It took us a long time... oh and also don't be scared to click the wrong dialogue choice as the game is fairly easy-going and will give you two tries. If you fail, the game will make you wait a bit (you'll have to trip/talk to the other NPCs again about 4-5 times) before letting you have another go. You can get an idea of what not to say based on what the NPCs with ! above their heads say.

If you're having trouble unlocking cutscenes (you keep getting rejected), you may have to grind the preferred quality (2 minigames for the 1st cutscene) or buy new clothes and makeup at the mall.

When you have a fallout with your gorl pal, she'll be somewhere on the street you live by. Not by her usual spot by her front door though.

Also when it comes time for your BB's (best boi) borthday, be sure to speak to his friend first by the bus stop before purchasing the new clothes! The new clothes won't unlock before then. But you can purchase a gift ahead of time and he'll confirm for you whether or not it's a good pick! You can also see our tips in the routes below for the good gift we went with (spoiler: you can typically pick the right gift from the music shop for cheap).

Around the time that you meet your chunk-a-hunk in the mall's ice cream shop/cafe, you'll volunteer yourself in whatever school performance he's putting on. You need a high stat in whatever preferred quality he likes so grind ahead of time or start grinding at this point before finding him! lol good luck it takes awhile
See Stat Minigames for minigame locations

After impressing your make-a-guy, you'll meet him somewhere in the school again. Get your Sun/Relax meter into the green before meeting him or he'll say that you seem too nervous! Spending 5 at the salon is the best way btw. You'll then be transported automatically to do 3 minigames related to the preferred quality. These are the same minigames you've been doing to raise your stats so it'll be fine!

Romantic Route - Stats: Romance, Music Note
-When it's his birthday, remember to buy a present! The Cello book in the music shop is one good gift.
-You'll be visiting the disco, the studio at the mall, and a side entrance at the school (take a right at the stairs bit) at some point so remember to check there if you're lost
-Your first meeting with your hubby will be at the stairs by the entrance to the school
-Your last meeting with your bubby will be at the school entrance near the theater/auditorium side

Sunnyboy - Stats: Elegance, Running Shoes
-When it's his birthday, remember to buy a present! Soccer Highlights from the music shop is a good one.
-You'll first meet him at school to the right of the entrance.
-Your last meeting with him will be at the front stairs when you enter the school from the bus stop
-You can check the park, the disco, the school or the mall's gym if you get lost trying to find him
*There might be a funny glitch where you can meet your boi at the disco before it opens at 7pm. If you enter before then, be prepared to wait in the disco until 7pm hits to exit. Even if the doors are open. The game does not know the doors are open.

Rebel - Stats: Originality, Star
-When it's his birthday, remember to buy a present! Diary of an Environmentalist from the music shop is a good one.
-You'll first meet him at school near the skatepark
-If you get lost, check out the school's skatepark, the entrance to the library,
Stat Minigames
You'll typically play these with a mouse or arrowkeys! As far as we know, all of these give equal gains but some may be more convenient to reach based on what areas you frequent (Home, Mall, etc). We're not sure at what rate you gain points either... do your best lol! And also get familiar with the main areas as it's somewhat difficult to give good directions ngl.
You can also guess you've gained a level/point in the stat if the minigame gets harder or longer (for example, giving out 6 fliers versus 4 in the mall).

Music Note
-hand out fliers at school (hang a right at the entrance and it's down the way)
-dance at the school theater (same direction as ^ but enter the portal at a door)
-practice guitar at the mall's studio (you'll unlock this after the 1st cutscene with your Romantic BF but otherwise you're free to go in; it's to the left)

Running Shoes:
-run the obstacle course at the park (it's past the ponder bench)
-do an aerobic workout at the mall's gym
-play soccer at the school

Star:
-hand out fliers at the mall
-skateboard at school
-pick up trash on the street you live on

Learning:
-Check out a book from the librarian and read at the couch or spend some time on the library computer
-Go to your desk at home and read on the bed (lmao)
Best Jobs
You'll typically play these with a mouse or arrowkeys as well! The best moneymakers are games aligned with preferred qualities (since you're grinding them anyways).
In the initial game, these are best:
-car wash (a dirty car by your house)
-music store assistant (in the mall's music shop).
These two minigames are great as they generate lots of cash in a relatively short or easy-to-do task. Sure, you can walk the dog but it's 10 whole mind-numbing rounds and less effective than washing a car.
Although we joked about that, you'll find the best minigames depend on the stats you're grinding for your dream hottie.

Here are the stats you should grind and what we guess are the best minigames based on the route:
Romantic: Music Store Assistant (Learning, Originality, Musical Note)
Sunnyboy: Wash Car (Learning, Originality, Running Shoes)
Rebel: Take Dog Out (Learning, Romance, Star)
But we recommend raising your stats and unlocking better jobs as they pay much better. Having good Romance, Elegance, or Originality may also be one of the conditions. In other words, you won't have access to certain jobs until later in the game.
You can actually reach the below mid-game money makers and not bother with the end-game ones unless you really like grinding for stats! It might also help with preparing to impress your guy via stats at that plot point in the game.

These are the mid-game money makers:
-(Romantic) Busking can be accessed at the mic stand in the mall
-(Sunnyboy) Help Out in Cafe is by the mall's ice cream shop right in front of the girl at the counter
-(Rebel) Paint Airbrush Picture is in the mall a little south of the ice cream shop/cafe. You'll see a canvas set up

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND PURSUING THIS! THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU MAKE IS TERRIBLE!!!!
For the "end-game" money makers, you'll need to increase your Learning by a lot! However, all 3rd tier minigames have preferred clothing stats out of line with the routes' preferred clothing and we're not sure if it's possible to have that mismatched clothing while meeting the standards your BF set. At worst, you'll have to go home A LOT and change clothing all the time.
If you do want to try, purchasing the Lv 1 clothing for Romance/Elegance (depending on what job you pursue) should be enough to unlock the game. There is no preference for Originality at all (L)! We suspect the reason the income is so bad is because you need to have high stats in both your preferred stat and your preferred clothing. And if this isn't the case, then these minigames have no purpose! At any rate, it's very expensive to afford this just for your BF so it's not efficient to do this for a different set of clothing.
If you want to unlock the mini-game of a different stat, you only need to do 3 stat minigames. However, it's not as if you'd earn a lot without grinding the stat more...
These are the "end-game" money makers:
-(Romantic) Give Music Lessons is at the music stand in the school theater standing to the left of the door when you enter
-(Sunnyboy) Deliver newspapers is on the street where you live on somewhere; it's near a big red and white fence
-(Rebel) Library Assistant is next to the borrowing portal at the front desk

Here is that table of jobs from earlier for easy viewing:
Conclusion
After you officially become husbando and wifey with your dream daddy, the game will enter free mode and you can muck around with whatever outfits and minigames you like! Or start a new parallel universe with a different BF-ie
Little Glitch Goofs
For the most part, Miss Popularity does not have game-breaking glitches! However, the worst bugs are probably if you accidentally start a cutscene with an NPC while attempting to hit a minigame. During these times, focus on correctly answering the dialogue first and then play the minigame as it doesn't matter if you fail the game.
The worst the game can glitch is that sometimes you will be able to walk around in the cutscene but the camera remains static. Usually, the game reorients itself after a bit but at worst you'll have to load your save again if the camera refuses to budge. This can happen if you fail the dialogue in the previous scenario (and it at least happened to us). Our Rebel route was dead in the water 2x lol

Still there are funny, not as game-breaking bits where the game works not as intended haha! Here are some strange scenes we commonly came across:

Our girl has reached enlightenment

From time to time when we help our mum back home with her shopping bags, she likes to skip through the shortcut dimension!

I like your 'tude but I feel like something's going over someone's head right now

Friend? Bestie? Amigo? Where have you gone...

His clone, watching (It's supposed to be his friend but he happens to look similar to the BF we created. He has no dialogue in the scene tho?!?!? Why even put him there???)
