Extra Historical Characters

Extra Historical Characters adds several historical characters for the HC mechanic introduced with the Basileus-Update.
With each version update of the mod, more characters will be added. These new characters will revolve around a common theme, usually based on traits. Most of the added characters will have special modifiers to make them more unique (e.g., Stigmata for Francis of Assisi).



The mods first version starts with European monks and adds the following 10 (11) Historical Characters.:

• Nilus the Younger (965) in Rossano
  
• Symeon the New Theologian and his mentor Symeon the Studite (979) in Galatia
  
• Gerbert of Aurillac, later known as Pope Sylvester II (980) in Aurillac
  
• Anselm of Canterbury (1077) in Aosta
  
• Bernard of Clairvaux (1129) in Dijon
  
• Guigo II the Carthusian (1170) in Chambery
  
• Dominic (Guzman) of Caleruega (1216) in Lerma
  
• Francis of Assisi (1224) in Assisi
  
• Berthold of Regensburg (1250) in Regensburg
  
• Raniero Fasani (1260) in Perugia

This mod changes exactly one vanilla file:
00_historical_character_loc.txt
If you encounter compatibility issues with other mods (in the future) that modify the same file, you can simply delete the file from my mod . The only consequence will be that you will no longer see the description snippet in the Character window, but you can still access the information by hovering over the "Extra Historical Character" trait.

Feel free to suggest additional characters in the comments that you think should be included in the mod. If they aren't already on my list for future updates or fit onto it, I'll try my best to add as many requested characters as possible in smaller updates between the „big“ ones.
