Beskrivning
Designed and built by Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the Hornet Scoutship is a vanilla small-grid design without mods, and contains no rotors or pistons making it a perfect survival-ready solution for interplanetary transport of matériel and up to four personnel. The hydrogen thrusters are powered by 2 O2/H2 generators, and hydrogen gas stored in 10 small hydrogen tanks. Hornet Scoutship carries ore, ingots, and/or components in 1 large cargo container, as well as the cockpit and connector. The atmospheric thrusters are powered by 12 small batteries. Two gatling guns are available for defense. MMaster's Automatic LCDs 2 script is utilized if Ingame Scripts is enabled in advanced game settings.

These features make the Hornet Scoutship is ideal for the player who needs a relatively inexpensive scout ship that can be built using iron, nickel, cobalt, and silicon ore processed in a basic refinery and parts generated from a basic assembler.

NO MODS, NO ROTORS/PISTONS; SURVIVAL READY AND PROJECTOR BUILDABLE!

NOTES FOR BUILDING WITH A PROJECTOR IN SURVIVAL
(See the last two pictures for the projector's configuration.)
1. Build a rotor frame on a powered grid; remove the large-grid rotor head and replace with a small-grid rotor head and lock rotation.
2. Build 2 armor blocks, minimum, as vertical spacers atop the small rotor head for clearance to build the blueprint.
3. Build a small-grid projector on top of the uppermost armor block; for consistency, rename the projector to be "HS - Projector".
4. Load the blueprint into the projector; click on the setting to retain the blueprint after construction is complete.
5. Build the blueprint.
6. When completed, carefully grind away the armor blocks, small-grid rotor head, and rotor frame, leaving the projector in place for future repairs.
