This guide contains all basic ingame PvE weapon data, as of patch 4.1.

This guide was born from frustration over the fake infographics fed to the players that obfuscate weapon usefulness.
Knowledge is power and information is liberating, wield it for the Emperor!

DISCLAIMERS:
1) I will only provide basic data - its spread all over the files with a lot of variables involved.
2) First version contains all the Ranged Weapons.
3) Melee weapons are much harder to compile due to the fact that each attack-move has its own modifiers such damage modifier, cone of effect, influenced number of actors (how many enemies it cleaves). It's a lot of work, will see if people are interested first.
4) PvP weapons are covered by different settings and not listed here.

1. PREMISE
I will only provide basic data here - it is spread all over the files with a lot of variables involved making it hard to compile a full interpretation.

Notable exclusions:
  • Ranged weapons - Range & Accuracy data will be absent as that would require a synthetsis of multiple profiles like bullet, barrel, recoil, spread, recoveries and so on.
    Variant modifiers to those values will still be listed so you will have a rough idea how big the buff is.
  • Ranged weapons - AoE (splash) of ranged projectiles.
  • Ranged weapons - Ammo counts and increases are accurate and not listed here.
  • Melee weapons - every single weapon has its own moves which have their own parameters like damage modifier, slowdowns, cone size and angles, affected enemies, weight/impact, knockback and guardbreak etc. It's a lot of work, will see if people are interested first.

Every weapon has A BASE MODEL and every variant is usually a percentage % increase on the base model. Exceptions are ammo counts, piercing, melee cleave, melee parry profiles.

There is a sharp damage dropoff over range.

Individual enemy types can have further headshot multipliers and potentially armored body (regions or blanket resistance to bodyshots) that reduce bodyshot damage.

All fencing weapons got SOME of their extended parry window back:
-Patch 4.X was 0,495
-Patch 5.0 was 0
-Patch 5.1 is 0,165

Chainsword Artificer #1 damage bonus changed to correct value (40%, was 140%)
