S.A.F.S (Super Armored Fighting Suit) is a highly advanced and heavily armored exosuit designed for special operations, featuring enhanced strength, agility, and firepower.

    FAQ

  • Q: Is the S.A.F.S not supposed to take damage? I´ve had it for a very long time now and never have had it take damage.
    SAFS is actually the first exosuit and wearable item in Barotrauma that takes damage. If you check the change notes and description, you'll find details about its development.

  • Q: How to repair the S.A.F.S?
    The game has a mechanic called "Repair Threshold" Once the suit's condition falls below that threshold, using the wrench will successfully repair it.

  • Q: Where do I find the Manual?
    Head to the Research Station to buy the manual.

  • Q: How do I craft things in SAFS mod?
    Read the Manual thoroughly (100%) to get the extra talent!-> gather the required resources -> load your materials into the Fabricator-> you’re all set!

  • Q: The mod isn’t working.
    I recommend resetting your mod list and reviewing your setup.

  • Q: I feel like the new arm attachments drain the fuel rod way too fast.
    Trying different fuel types like Thorium Fuel Rods might help with fuel consumption.

  • Q: I can't figure out how the ExoJet works.
    While in water, hold RMB, then press and hold LMB to activate ignition. Use the keys to navigate.

  • Q: How does the ExoShield work?
    When running towards the enemy with your shield in hand, press LMB to knock them down.

  • Q: Why does the nanochips lose condition?
    This is intentional. It is part of the overheating system.

  • Q: Is this mod compatible with other mods in the game?
    A: Hard to say unfortunately, It's not part of my scope to know everything about the compatibility of other mods in the game...The main thing to note is that this mod is intentionally built without a Lua script. It's a key technical decision to ensure it works within the standard framework of the base game.

  • Q: Why are some comments being removed from the page?
    Comments that are irrelevant, unclear, disruptive, confusing, or have already been addressed are removed to ensure the page remains helpful, positive and easy to understand for everyone.

@Túzí and @Gromlin, thanks for reaching out!. I’ve tested the mod thoroughly, and everything seems to be functioning correctly on my end. It’s possible that there might be a conflict with other mods you’re using?

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? If so, I’d appreciate any setups or solutions you can share to help figure this out together.

This is great, but quick question: do the various things like nets, breaching charges, etc. have a limit to how many you can put on at once, and do they interfere with each other.
