Near the boundaries of the mountains on the map, there are some small cliff platforms where you can find various high-altitude insects. It’s a good idea to explore these areas when you have some free time.

A few species of insects have specific appearance dates, meaning they may only show up in the later stages of the game or might disappear entirely. If you miss them, you'll have to wait until the next playthrough to find them again.

If you accidentally get spotted by an insect when you get close, you can run a little further away and then come back; this will cause the insect to respawn in the nearby area.

Insects like rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles need to be attracted by applying honey on trees in order to catch them🍯

🐜 For ants, you should check the ground in the town by flipping over the stone bricks to search for them.
